The official report of the June 30th performance of "Revo's Orchestra Concert" has arrived! The first live photos have also arrived!

“Revo’s Orchestra Concert” was held at Showa Women’s University Hitomi Memorial Hall for two days on June 29th and 30th, 2024. This was a performance by Revo, the founder of Sound Horizon, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, and Linked Horizon (the name he uses when collaborating), performing with a full orchestra. A total of four performances were held over the two days, with two performances in the afternoon and evening, and here we report on the performance on June 30th.

In this “Revo’s Orchestra Concert,” in addition to the songs of Sound Horizon, the concert also featured Linked Horizon’s “Guren no Yumiya” and “Akatsuki no Requiem,” which were used in the TV anime “Attack on Titan,” “Kibou e Mukau Okyoku,” which was used in Square Enix’s fantasy RPG “BRAVELY DEFAULT,” and “MOON PRIDE,” which Revo wrote, composed, and arranged for Momoiro Clover Z. It could be said that the selection of songs was the best of Revo’s long career. These songs were performed by the 70-member Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Hirofumi Kurita, expressing Revo’s magnificent worldview with great force.

The first part of the concert was entirely performed by the orchestra, except for when Revo came out to perform MC acts. In the middle of the concert, there was a talk corner with music critics, with Tomita Akihiro in the daytime session and Munakata Akimasa in the evening session. In the second part of the concert, singer SAK. appeared as a guest to sing in the daytime session, and voice actress Ishikawa Yui appeared as a guest to sing in the evening session. Revo also sang “Kuren no Yumiya” (Guren no Yumiya), which he sang at the 64th NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen in 2013. Revo also invited guests and talk guests to sing “In other words… the dark super gravity that does not let even the light escape” and “The Glory Kingdom”, bringing the concert to a close.

Revo has always incorporated his classical music background into his music, both in Sound Horizon and Linked Horizon, but this time, in a performance with only an orchestra, this was finally brought into full bloom, further raising expectations for Revo’s future activities as a musician. What made this even more apparent was the thunderous cheers of “Bravo!” from the fans.

“Revo’s Halloween Party 2024”

It’s been 11 years since the last Halloween Party.

The concert will feature songs by Sound Horizon, who will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their major debut on October 27, 2024, as well as songs from the “Attack on Titan” and “BRAVELY DEFAULT” series by Linked Horizon, as well as hits under the name Revo!
