Saba Sister, who completed their first-ever nationwide tour, “Get Ready Tour,” on July 10th, visiting 23 cities with sold-out tickets, have announced that they will be releasing their second EP, “Ano Yoru no Hanashi,” on September 18th.
This is the first EP release in about a year and a half since “Attention!!” was released on March 8, 2023 (Mackerel Day), and it will be the first new album released in about half a year following their major debut 1st album “Kakugo Decide!” released on March 8, 2024 (Mackerel Day).
The album will include four songs, including the new song “Hiace Number,” which was released digitally on July 11th ahead of the EP, and will be released in two formats: CD+DVD and CD Only. Details of the contents and bonus features will be announced at a later date, so please look forward to it.
Along with the release of their second EP, they have also announced that they will be holding the “Ano Yoru no Hanashi Tour” which will visit eight cities across Japan. The tour will kick off on September 28th at Sendai RENSA, and the final show will be at Zepp Diver City in Tokyo, the largest capacity venue for a Saba Sister tour. The official first advance sale for tickets has also started, so be sure to check it out now.
At the same time, the music video for their new song “Hiace Number,” due for release on July 11, was also released. It is made up of actual footage of the band members touring live music venues all over the country in a Hiace, and is an emotional video that condenses the passion and scenery that Saba Sisters have experienced along the way, such as the feelings each member has for the band and their live shows, and the bonds between band members.
The band has just wrapped up their “Kakugo Decide It Tour” with their first solo live performance and the largest tour in their history, but they have announced the release of their second EP and a new tour, and their momentum shows no sign of stopping. A three-piece girl band formed in March 2022 consisting of Nachi (Vo/Gt), GK (Dr), and Luminus (Gt).
