Product information and a preview video for the CD “MANKAI STAGE “A3!” ACT2! ~WINTER 2024~ MUSIC COLLECTION,” which will be released on September 4th, have been released.

Based on the hugely popular handsome actor training game “A3!”, which has been downloaded over 8 million times, the MANKAI STAGE “A3!” series has continued to blossom with its charm since being adapted into a stage play in 2018.

ACT2! was also able to successfully complete eight seasons.
There are 108 songs included. 92 BGM songs. In the space of two years… it’s been a while, haha
Each song has a precious memory and evokes a scene.
We will now introduce the songs from the Winter Troupe’s performance, which will conclude ACT2!

For this Winter troupe performance, we took on a new challenge and created songs with an aggressive attitude.

1. “Starlight Winter”
This is the first taste of the Winter Troupe’s theme song.
I thought that even though it was a mid-tempo ballad typical of the Winter Troupe, having Guy there made it even better, so after talking with (Matsuzaki) Fumiya, we decided to go for it more this time.
However, I wanted to create something that other groups couldn’t offer, even though it was an up-tempo song, so I made it a song with a mature feel.

2. “Musha Shugyo ACT”
It’s a song that pays homage to or is a sequel to Autumn Troupe’s “Skillful and Clumsy,” and is synonymous with street action.
The opening Homare and Tsumugi’s solo in the middle are typical of the Winter Troupe, and since the performance is “Death by the Sword,” we also used Japanese instruments!
The chorus was performed by the Winter troupe, who created a great atmosphere and clapped their hands, which was very impressive compared to the Autumn troupe.

3. “Memories of my Father”
This song made me realize just how difficult it is to write a song for Guy.
I don’t want to make the situation too exciting, but I do want to make use of the emotional range of the song.
As a song about my dad, I want to mix in the flavor of his previous work, but also bring out a new side of him.
Conflict.
Ultimately, this song is all about how amazing Guy’s singing is!

4. “The only person who understands me”
We went for a different style than ever before.
I was conscious of the tension in the rehearsal room at GOD Theater, as well as Jo’s memories and the atmosphere.
I was a bit worried that it would be difficult to sing, but Jo’s singing was delicate and beautiful.

5. “Something you can only find here”
The key to this piece is Jo’s singing at the beginning, which is very difficult but I wanted to make it work delicately with just one piano! Jo’s singing was really good.
Thanks to that, we were able to expand the scale of the second half to feel like “The Winter Group!”

6. “Someone Who Understands You”
A reprise of M4.
At first, there was a lot more sound, but perhaps due to Tsumugi’s acting or the direction, the scene became increasingly delicate, and the sound was removed more and more to arrive at its current form.

7. “Death by the sword.”
We had talked about creating a play within a play this time with stillness and movement, and for “Death by the Sword” we placed emphasis on white space.
In any case, I took a minimalist approach so that my eyes and ears would be drawn to the actors’ every move.
It’s a really short scene, but both Azuma and Tsumugi have learned the shamisen and they perform it as if they are playing the audio.
This attention to detail is what makes A3! so great!

8 “Ordinary Everyday Life”
August… I’m crying…
Because I know the story,
This song is all about being happy. Bright and happy.
The theme was.
I also hope that the three of them will be able to spend such happy times together.

9. “To let go of the past”
It’s a culmination of Mitsu’s ballads.
Up until now, most of Mitsu’s solo songs have been ballad-oriented, so we decided to take that into consideration and make this a familiar Mitsu song that people have heard before, rather than a new one.
Mitsu generally doesn’t sing loudly, so the key is made very low, but she makes it a little higher in the parts where she wants to express emotion.
The charm of Mitsu is its ability to express this so well.

10. “If my wish came true”
This time, I once again felt the quality of Azuma’s singing.
Of course it’s skill, but it’s also beautiful and elegant.
This is his unique talent.
Azuma’s strength is his ability to sing beautifully in falsetto.

11 “Memories I Can’t Throw Away”
It’s really difficult to mix other songs into one song and develop it in many ways,
This is the song that I thought the Winter troupe would sing (lol) ever since I read the script.
It was a difficult piece because so many musicians participated, but it’s those songs that I tend to forget how difficult it was to produce them (laughs).
So when I saw the actual performance, I just cried.

12. Risky Game
A song with a dynamic opposite to M7.
In any case, I made it a flashy, fully entertaining song right from the beginning.
The band didn’t care about the details and just wanted to sound cool, so the result was fast-paced songs and rap, but the music was still flashy.
It must have been really difficult. The singing must have been incredibly difficult, and I’m sure it was also very difficult for the sound engineers.
But this is A3. I believed in everyone.
Everyone was nice, but it was still crowded.
They really put in a lot of effort and their talent was impressive; it was a wonderful “Risky Game.”

13 “Angel Snow”
Winter troupe…I think their singing style has changed a lot.
There have been times when Guy has been in there,
This recording session really made me feel how much I’ve grown over the past six years.
