“Hareza Ikebukuro” celebrates its 4th anniversary! “Hareza Day 4th Anniversary SUMMER FESTIVAL 2024” will be held, bringing excitement to the fusion of anime and music.

The futuristic live theater “harevutai” operated by Pony Canyon Co., Ltd. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Takashi Yoshimura; hereinafter referred to as Pony Canyon) is one of the eight theater spaces of “Hareza Ikebukuro,” a symbol of Toshima Ward’s “International Art and Culture City.” This “Hareza Ikebukuro” will be celebrating its fourth anniversary since its grand opening on July 1, 2024.

“Hareza Ikebukuro” will hold “Hareza Day 4th Anniversary SUMMER FESTIVAL 2024” for four days from August 1 to August 4, 2024, on August 3, 2024, with August 3 being “8 (ha) 0 (re) 3 (za)” as “Hareza Day”. During the period, “Hare Stage” will appear in Naka-Ikebukuro Park as the ninth theater, and you can enjoy various performances that combine music and anime, such as “anime song dance”, “anime song DJ”, “anime song live” and “anime song Bon Odori”, set in the holy land of anime, “Ikebukuro”. In addition, a rest area with textile cushions will be set up in the Park Plaza, and various benefits will be offered in conjunction with each facility and store in Ikebukuro.

①“Hareza de Uchimizu” Opening Event & “Kinnikuman” Special Stage
As special guests at the opening event, Toshima ward mayor Miyuki Takagiwa and voice actor Mamoru Miyano appeared on Ikebukuro’s community bus IKEBUS and declared the opening of “Hareza Day 4th Anniversary SUMMER FESTIVAL 2024”. The mayor, Mamoru Miyano, and the voice actor Mamoru Miyano announced the opening of the event.
The event will be held by office workers at Hareza Ikebukuro and people involved with the Hareza Ikebukuro Area Management Council. ②DJ KOO “Hare stage Anime song Bon dance” x Masayoshi Oishi, Famippe,
“Wonderful Pretty Cure! The Movie! An exciting adventure in the world of games!” Collaboration event

The head of Japan’s biggest lively band, DJ KOO, the leader of TRF, a band that has sold over 22 million CDs and is still loved by many, will be performing at the Bon Odori Festival, with the concept of an anime song Bon Odori that can be enjoyed by all generations.
He will be performing a collaboration between DJ, anime and Bon Odori from Ikebukuro in a unit with Master Houchou Yoshinari, who is also a special advisor to the Bon Odori Association and was involved in the Bon Odori dances used in the closing ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics and the theme songs for the Osaka-Kansai Expo!

This will be the second live performance by voice actor Junichi Toki since the opening event in November 2019. Junichi Toki, who is also very active as an artist, will once again be appearing in Ikebukuro with his spectacular stage performance.
