THE ORAL CIGARETTES has announced that they will release the digital single “DUNK feat.Masato (coldrain)” featuring coldrain’s vocalist Masato on August 7th.
This will be the first release in about six months since the release of “MARBLES” in March 2024.
This work features Masato, the vocalist of coldrain, a band with a strong presence in the loud rock scene both in Japan and overseas. The powerful vocals of Oral Vo/Gt Yamanaka and coldrain Vo Masato collide violently, creating a song full of a sense of speed with a roaring sound that is full of realism. Pre-add/Pre-save is also available on Apple Music and Spotify from today, so be sure to do so in advance.
The cover photo was also released along with the release information. The monochrome and noisy texture of the album features an impressive image of Yamanaka Takuya (Vo/Gt) with his face covered by a mask. The concept visual has also been released on the “DUNK feat.Masato (coldrain)” special page, so let’s look forward to the release on August 7th while letting our imaginations run wild about what kind of song it will be.
The song will be broadcast on radio nationwide starting at 6:30 PM on July 21. More information about the film will be released in the future, so please look forward to it.
