Official Hige Dandism has released a live video of “Mixed Nuts” from “OFFICIAL HIGE DANDISM SHOCKING NUTS TOUR selected from NIPPON BUDOKAN,” which will be included on the Blu-ray/DVD of their album “Rejoice,” which will be released on CD on July 31st.
The video is sure to give you a taste of the fun of a Higedan live show, with the members’ immersive live performance and their interactions with the support members, so be sure to check it out.
This footage is from the final performance of the hall tour held in February 2023, and the “Rejoice” Blu-ray/DVD will also include “Behind The Scenes from OFFICIAL HIGE DANDISM SHOCKING NUTS TOUR,” which shows the making of the tour.
In addition, Higedan will appear as a special personality on “All Night Nippon” broadcast on August 15th. This will be Higedan’s first time as a personality on “All Night Nippon”. There will be various corners themed around “Rejoice”, from behind-the-scenes stories on the production of the album “Rejoice”.
Regarding their first appearance on All Night Nippon, Higedan commented, “This will be our first time appearing on All Night Nippon. We hope that both first-timers and regular listeners can come and have a fun time together!”
Official Hige Dandism will release their third major album, “Rejoice,” digitally on July 24th and on CD on July 31st. The album will include 16 songs, including singles such as “Sharon,” the theme song for the Kansai TV/Fuji TV Monday 10pm drama “Mountain Doctor,” “B-Side Blues,” the new Kirin Afternoon Tea commercial song, “Mixed Nuts,” “Subtitle,” “TATTOO,” and “SOULSOUP.”
On July 31st, the day of the CD release, a one-night-only “Higedan Festival” will be held on YouTube. “Official Hige Dandism Live at Radio,” which was broadcast simultaneously on radio stations nationwide on May 7th, will be broadcast in its entirety on YouTube. In addition to the full “Live at Radio,” a special lineup of music videos and live footage will also be broadcast. Don’t miss out on the one-night-only “Higedan Festival,” which will run for about two hours from 7:30 p.m. and can only be seen here. On the day, post your thoughts on social media with the hashtag “#HigedanFestival” to liven up the atmosphere.
Starting in September, the band will hold an arena tour called “Official HIGE DANdism Arena Tour 2024 – Rejoice -” with 10 shows in 5 cities across Japan. The tour will kick off at Marine Messe Fukuoka A-kan in Fukuoka, and go on to K Arena Yokohama in Kanagawa, Osaka Castle Hall in Osaka, and more.
