The world-famous all-girl band BAND-MAID will be the first Japanese band to perform at Lollapalooza in the US in 13 years in 2023. It has been announced that their dream collaboration song with The Warning, “SHOW THEM,” which has been gaining attention including ranking 8th on the US Billboard TOP Mainstream Rock Chart, will be released worldwide on August 7th under the name BAND-MAID with The Warning.
The Warning is a three-sister band from Monterrey, Mexico’s third largest city, that has been attracting attention since the release of their 2021 “MAYDAY EP,” attracting hard rock fans and recording over 86 million views on YouTube. After interacting with members who were originally fans of BAND-MAID backstage at the “AFTERSHOCK FESTIVAL” in the United States in October 2022, they performed a special collaboration in Japan in June 2024. The collaboration song “SHOW THEM” by BAND-MAID with The Warning, which was performed at that special performance and attracted a lot of attention, was announced to be included in BAND-MAID’s new album “Epic Narratives” to be released on September 27th, but in response to requests from all over the world who wanted to hear it as soon as possible, it was suddenly released in advance from the album.
Teasers that give a listen to excerpts of “SHOW THEM” will be released in sequence on both BAND-MAID and The Warning’s social media and YouTube Shorts, so with just one week left until the release, keep an eye on both bands’ social media in anticipation.
