Bedroom artist Tota has written a new song, “Detour,” as a support song for the digital art battle “LIMITS High School Tournament 2024”!

Bedroom artist Tota wrote a new song, “Yorimichi,” as a support song for the “LIMITS High School Tournament 2024.” You can hear a snippet of the song in the tournament announcement video released on the official LIMITS YouTube channel.

The “LIMITS High School Competition 2024” is a national competition for high school students involved in all aspects of drawing, including illustration, art, manga, anime, and design. More than 150 teams from over 100 schools across the country have entered, and eight teams have been selected to advance to the finals through previous selections and online qualifiers. The finals will be held on August 3rd at Takarazuka University’s Shinjuku Campus in Tokyo.

Tota’s new song “Yorimichi” was created as a support song for high school students competing in the tournament, with the image of high school students working hard on creative activities in mind. With a painting motif, the song is packed with Tota’s universal melody, message, and wordplay.

Tota’s new song “Tsumugu,” released in February 2023, has been streamed over 86 million times so far, topped the Billboard Japan Heatseekers Songs chart for five consecutive weeks, and dominated the charts. It also won the LINE MUSIC Trend Award, which is given to the most talked-about song in 2023. Many listeners may be familiar with the phrase “The sky is crying.”

Please keep an eye on our future activities.
