General applications for aiko’s free live concert “Love Like Aloha vol.7,” to be held at Southern Beach Chigasaki on August 30th, began on August 8th.
“Love Like Aloha” is a free live concert that has been held irregularly since 2003, and will be held for the first time in about six years after the COVID-19 pandemic. Admission is free, and anyone who goes to Southern Beach Chigasaki on the day can see the concert, but in response to the recent extreme heat, in 2024, in order to reduce the burden on participants, a numbered ticket will be distributed by advance application. The application period is until 23:59 on August 12, 2024, so check early.
In addition, a live video of “Preview” from “Love Like Aloha vol.6” was released on aiko’s official YouTube Channel. In the previous “Love Like Aloha vol.6”, she captivated the more than 30,000 fans who gathered that day with a special set list for that day, including a cover of Southern All Stars in honor of Southern Beach Chigasaki. In addition, aiko’s 16th full album “Zanshin Zansho” will be released on August 28th. This is her first new album in about a year and a half since her previous album. The CD will include 13 songs, including the theme song “Aishisouai” for the movie “Detective Conan: The Million Dollar Five-Point Star,” the single “Hoshi no Furu Hi ni” released in November 2023, and the theme song “Itsuka Aetara” for the TV anime “Kimi wa Houkago Insomnia.” In addition, the first limited edition will include a Blu-ray or DVD recording of the semi-final performance at Yokohama Arena on February 17th from the arena tour “Love Like Pop vol.24” held in 2024.
