Pony Canyon has announced the establishment of a new label, HAMMER COLLECTIVE, which will specialize in female virtual rap singers. It has also announced that it will be holding the V-Rap Singer Audition 2024, an audition to produce the next generation of artists.

HAMMER COLLECTIVE is a new level of music born from the virtual world and street culture that breaks the mold of the Internet music scene, and is a label that aims to present an alternative to virtual singers.The label aims to make its debut in 2025 with the successful candidates of this audition.

The audition is open to anyone, from students to working adults, or those who already have a permanent job and a stable life, as long as they are women who have a passion for music and are confident in their voice. In addition, successful applicants (1-2 people) will be presented with an activity plan tailored to their individual personalities and lifestyles, such as songwriting and lessons, in preparation for their debut. We encourage all kinds of people to take on the challenge and carve out a new future as a new era’s dark horse in another life.

Eligibility
・Women
・Any age
・If you are a resident of Japan, your nationality does not matter
・Those who do not have an exclusive contract with a specific production company, record company, etc. Or, even if you are currently affiliated with a production company, record company, etc., you can guarantee that you will terminate or cancel your contract with your current organization at your own responsibility after passing the audition.
・If you are a minor, parental consent is required to apply.

Selection process
・First selection: Document screening
*The results will be notified by email to successful applicants by Friday, October 18, 2024.

・Second selection: Online interview
*Those who pass the first round of selection will be contacted and interviewed individually.
*The results will be notified by email to successful applicants by Friday, October 25, 2024.

・Final selection: Interview and singing performance at a studio in Tokyo
Saturday, November 2nd and Sunday, November 3rd, 2024
*The results will be announced individually only to finalist applicants.
*Final round participants will be contacted individually by Friday, October 25, 2024 regarding the content and audio to be sung.
