Toki Shunichi, who is also active as a voice actor, held a live broadcast on YouTube on August 20th to commemorate the release of his anime song cover mini-album “Log.”, which is scheduled to be released on September 25th as a special project to celebrate the 5th anniversary of his career as an artist.
The songs included on this album are Pony Canyon-related anime songs selected by Toki himself, who professes to be a huge anime fan, and include a total of six songs such as “Unbalanced Kiss Me,” the ending theme to the TV anime “Yu Yu Hakusho,” and “Cry Baby,” the opening theme to the TV anime “Tokyo Revengers.”
The album jacket was revealed during the live broadcast. The concept is retro pop, and the jacket has a nostalgic feel to it, in reference to the “Log.” (history) of the important anime songs that have colored Toki’s memories up to now.
In addition, to commemorate the release of the mini album, individual talk events and online autograph sessions have been decided. The individual talk events will be held three times on November 24th, and those who purchase the Canyon Edition, the limited first edition, or the regular edition at Animate stores nationwide (including mail order), all Gamers stores (including online shops), and Canyon will be entered into a lottery to participate.
The online signing event will be held on September 15th, and those who pre-order the first limited edition of the album will be entered into a drawing to receive a limited edition bromide with a handwritten signature and address. The process of writing the address for each person will be live streamed on Limista’s YouTube channel. Be sure to pre-order “Log.” early, as there are plenty of special benefits.
It was announced that Recording Movies for the 6 songs from the anime song cover EP “Log.” will be released during the live broadcast. The 6 songs included in this release were filmed in a recording style, and the footage conveys the feelings behind each song as they were sung.
It has also been decided that Nakamura Shugo will be participating as a guest in the Christmas live show on December 21st, for which a ticket priority sales application ticket will be enclosed in this EP. Advance ticket applications for the show will also be available within Nakamura Shugo’s fan club. Nakamura also participated as a guest in the Shunichi Toki Xmas Special Event “The Party” held in 2019. Please look forward to seeing what kind of Christmas night the two will bring to us this time, as they are both celebrating their fifth anniversary as artists.
