Singer-songwriter A-ko (pronounced: Eiko) has released the music video for “Beige and Pink,” a track from her first album “GENE,” released on July 10, on her official YouTube channel.
“Beige and Pink” is an up-tempo, catchy song that combines house and rock with pop elements. The music video was directed by Shun Takeda, who is teaming up with her for the fifth time, and was shot entirely in Taiwan. Airports, markets, restaurants, back alleys, and downtown areas all appear in this work, and it is A-ko’s first attempt at action. The video is packed with the atmosphere of Taiwan, so we hope you enjoy it along with the song.
The first album “GENE” contains 13 songs in total, including “Atashi no Zenbu wo Aisenai,” which attracted attention as the opening theme of TV Tokyo’s Drama 24 “Hatsukoi, Zarari,” her major debut single “Wakusei,” which was played on 36 AM and FM stations nationwide, and five new songs “good morning,” “Beige and Pink,” “miss u,” “Tsumaran,” and “Borderline.” This is A-ko’s first full album that condenses her worldview.
The Blu-ray “MACHINE” will include newly shot acoustic live footage as well as behind-the-scenes footage from the “SXSW” stage held in Texas, USA in March.

Singer-songwriter. She began her career as an artist in 2020. A-ko herself produces and creates many emotional songs. Her activities are diverse, including music videos and other productions led by A-ko’s creative team, londog. She released her first EP, “Potential MISTY,” in September 2020, her second EP, “ANTI BLUE,” in January 2021, and her third EP, “Steal your heart,” in December 2023, on her own label, londog. She made her major debut with “Wakusei” on Pony Canyon/IRORI Records in February 2024. Her first album, “GENE,” was released on July 10 of the same year. A-ko LIVE TOUR 2025 “LOVE PROPHET” is scheduled to begin in January 2025.
