Singer-songwriter Yuuka’s song “Petillant” from her long-awaited fourth album “Love Deluxe,” which will be released on September 4th, will be aired on the radio for the first time.
It will be aired on FM802’s “THE NAKAJIMA HIROTO SHOW 802 RADIO MASTERS” (every Monday to Thursday 14:00-17:51) on September 2nd.
The song is the lead track of the album “Love Deluxe,” with lyrics written by Yuuka, music composed jointly by Yuuka and Takuro Okada, and arrangement by Takuro Okada.
Yuuga commented on the song, “Drinking wine with my best friend on a day when I’m feeling down. We were talking seriously about our worries in our room after midnight, but before we knew it, we were laughing and crying. I rolled on the floor laughing so hard it was hard to breath. My worries disappeared somewhere, lost in the kindness of laughter. I can feel it when you are there for me, but just laughing with you is such a relief to my heart. The words you said now aren’t funny at all, but somehow they were so funny at the time. When I remember nights like that, I can laugh again. Maybe we don’t need big words or pushing words to cheer us up. I wrote this song with gratitude to my best friend for making me think that.”
The official visualizer, which will feature her best friend, Honoka Ishibashi, who was also the model for the song, will be released after the first radio broadcast, as if to recreate that situation. This video was produced by VIDEOTAPEMUSIC. We hope you will look forward to both.
On September 4th, Yuuga’s long-awaited new album “Love Deluxe” will be released, his fourth in about two and a half years since his hit album “On a Night Without Words” released in 2022. It will include a total of 10 songs, including “Sunset” released digitally in June, “Don’t Remember Me” released digitally in July, and the pre-release song “Even if it becomes bubbles”. It will also include a 2024 mix of “Toi Asa” released in August 2023.
The entire album was produced by Takuro Okada and recorded with the familiar Magic Band consisting of Takuro Okada (Gt), Hiroki Chiba (B), Yu Taniguchi (Key), and Junpei Kamiya (Drs). It is also scheduled to be released on vinyl on October 30th.
In addition, he will hold in-store live concerts to celebrate the release of his album “Love Deluxe” in Tokyo and Osaka. The concerts will be held at Tower Records Shinjuku on September 15th and at Tower Records Umeda NU Chayamachi on September 16th. He began his career as a singer-songwriter in 2011.
She has been in charge of the theme song “Meguru” for the movie “The Long Goodbye” and the theme song “Tomoka” for the TBS Friday drama “My Wife is a Primary School Student.” Her 2022 album “On a Night Without Words” was produced with members of her ally Magic Band and she also toured. She has performed at live shows all over the country and at festivals such as FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL.
She is involved in a wide range of activities, including narration and singing for TV commercials, sound logos, and musicals.
As Yuuka with Magic Band, she was in charge of the theme song and background music for the NHK General TV drama “On the Night of a Lunar Eclipse,” and released the soundtrack “On the Night of a Lunar Eclipse” digitally in March 2023.
Fujiwara Sakura and Yuuka are also active as Jane Jade.
