Moeka Yahagi's second EP to be released in September will feature THE ALFEE's Konosuke Sakazaki and Gesu no Kiwami Otome's Kyujitsu Kacho! Amazon Music Studio live performance also confirmed!

The full details of Yahagi Moeka’s second EP “Ai wo Motome ni Nunni” (“I Want Love”), which will be released on September 25th, have been revealed.

Although she has only just begun her career as a singer-songwriter with the release of her previous album “spilt milk,” this work is packed with Yahagi Moeka’s unique individuality.

Starting with “Matarunai,” a light rock tune aimed at troubled young people, the album continues with “I was born to love you,” which tells the story of a young couple’s promises for the future, and “Watashi Gokko,” a hip-hop-style song that is her latest challenge.

And in “To Me at 18,” which is based on a letter to one’s past self, THE ALFEE’s Konosuke Sakazaki participates on acoustic guitar. After their first collaboration at “Shiokouji Tamai Shiori x Konosuke Sakazaki Odaiba Folk Village!”, the two also performed at the event “Dear BEATLES 2024” centered around Konosuke Sakazaki, creating an innocent, evergreen, 70s-style song.

In addition, bassist Kyūjitsu Kacho, who is active in Gesu no Kiwami Otome, DADARAY, ichikoro, and Reisan, participated in “Matamanai,” “I was born to love you,” and “Watashi Gokko.” Kyūjitsu Kacho’s unique groove enhances the sound of each song.

The final song on the EP is “Shinibana ni, Seimei wo,” a ballad that showcases Yahagi Moeka’s individuality. Written after a family member committed suicide, this is a great ballad that conveys her warm and powerful sensibility even in its philosophical expressions. The live video uploaded to social media has been viewed a total of approximately 2.6 million times, making this a highly anticipated song.

To celebrate the release of the EP, a live broadcast will be held at Amazon Music Studio exclusively for Amazon purchasers. Details about the EP, such as the cover photo, have also been released.
