The short film for Official Hige Dandism’s “Sharon” has been released. The video is a short film shot by the Brazilian sister director unit Fridman Sisters, who have won many international awards such as Cannes Lions, YDA, and The1.4, after listening to Official Hige Dandism’s “Sharon” and shooting it from their own perspective.
Fridman Sisters commented, “When we first heard “Sharon,” we were inspired by the heartwarming kindness of the song and the warmth of the Japanese words “Tadaima” (I’m home) and “Okaeri” (welcome home), and we wanted to create this video with the theme of “home.” Check it out and see what kind of video it is.
Official Hige Dandism released their third major album, “Rejoice,” digitally on July 24th and on CD on July 31st. The album contains 16 songs in total, including “Sharon,” whose short film was released this time, as well as singles such as “B-Side Blues,” the new commercial song for “Kirin Afternoon Tea,” “Mixed Nuts,” “Subtitle,” “TATTOO,” and “SOULSOUP.”
Starting in September, the band will hold an arena tour called “Official HIGE DANdism Arena Tour 2024 – Rejoice -” with 10 shows in 5 cities across Japan. The tour will kick off at Marine Messe Fukuoka A-kan in Fukuoka, and go on to K Arena Yokohama in Kanagawa, Osaka Castle Hall in Osaka, and more.
In December, they will hold their first Asian tour, “OFFICIAL HIGE DANDISM ASIA TOUR 2024 – Rejoice -“, in Seoul and Taipei. As this is Higedan’s first Asian tour, it will be a long-awaited live performance for fans in each country.

When I first heard “Sharon,” I was inspired by the heartwarming gentleness of the song and the warmth of the Japanese words “I’m home” and “Okaeri,” and I wanted to create this video with the theme of “home.”

This film aims to express through video the universal emotion that humans have at their core, the deep sense of security that comes from being truly understood and accepted.
