KOTORI has released a live video of “Overdrive” from the LIVE DVD & Blu-ray “Japanese Super Perfect Tour at Spotify O-EAST,” which will be released on October 23rd, on their official YouTube channel.
The “Japanese Super Perfect Tour” was a tour held in eight cities nationwide to promote the album “KOTORI”, and all performances were sold out. It was the last tour with the four-member lineup. The LIVE DVD & Blu-ray includes all 24 songs, including the encore, performed at the Spotify O-EAST performance in Tokyo on the first day on June 18th.
“Overdrive,” which is also included in the album “KOTORI,” is an anthem that encourages friends who are struggling every day. At the beginning, frontman Yokoyama shouts out, “Thank you for your hard work every day!” and performs the song in the second half of the heated live show. In a packed house, the floor is heated to the brim with fists raised, and the sing-along, which can be said to be the essence of KOTORI, resounds. Please check it out.

Formed in 2014 in Koshigaya, Saitama Prefecture. Belongs to small indies table. The emotional singing voice of Yuya Yokoyama (Vo/Gt), who delicately writes about everyday life and shouts loudly, and the strong rhythm create a vivid yet outstanding performance that continues to play rock sounds that overwhelm the floor. KOTORI’s music, whose songs resonate endlessly and are sung by the audience, is the most important band in the band scene that can resonate greatly with the same generation in 2023. In July 2023, they will appear at the 3rd “FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ’23”. The RED MARQUEE stage ended with great success. From September, they will hold an EP “Good Luck” release tour with 27 performances in 25 cities nationwide. Performances in various places were sold out one after another. In 2024, they will release their fourth new album “KOTORI” on May 29th and hold an album tour in eight cities starting at Shibuya O-EAST on June 18th. They will also appear at major festivals around the country, such as TRIANGLE 2024, ARABAKI ROCK FEST.24, CRAFTROCK FESTIVAL ’24, CAMPASS 2024, Mori, Michi, Ichiba 2024, YON FES, and Lucky Fes!
