Information on the theme songs for the TV anime “I am the Most Evil Support Job[Talker]and Command the World’s Strongest Clan,” which will begin airing on October 7th at 11:30 PM, has been released. The opening theme will be “Tactics” by KOHTA YAMAMOTO feat. SAIKI, and the ending theme will be “Liberation” by KOHTA YAMAMOTO feat. AAAMYYY. Comments have also been received from KOHTA YAMAMOTO, who is in charge of composition and arrangement, and SAIKI and AAAMYYY, who are in charge of lyrics and vocals.
“I am the Most Evil Support Job, Talker, and Command the World’s Strongest Clan” is a popular novel by Jaki, with the total number of copies of the series exceeding 1 million. The story follows Noel, a young boy who admires his late grandfather, a hero, and aims to become the strongest “Seeker.” He uses his skills as a “talker,” a support job that is considered the weakest, to gather allies and toy with enemies, while building the strongest “organization (clan).”
KOHTA YAMAMOTO, who will be performing the opening and ending themes for this work, is a composer and arranger who has worked on the soundtracks of many popular works, such as the TV anime “Attack on Titan The Final Season” and NHK Drama 10 “Ooku”. Starting in 2024, a new project featuring vocals will be launched, and these songs are the third and fourth installments of the project. SAIKI, who wrote and sang the opening theme, is the vocalist of the world-famous girl band “BAND-MAID”, which has toured the US with over 20,000 people. AAAMYYY, who wrote and sang the ending theme, is an SSW/track maker who has attracted attention for her wide range of activities, including collaborations with a wide variety of artists, modeling, providing songs, and providing songs for commercials. The release of the songs featuring these two as vocalists and details of the release will be announced at a later date.

I am very honored to be in charge of the opening and ending themes for this work! The opening theme “Tactics” that I did with SAIKI is a song that expresses the strength of the convictions of the main character Noel, who aspires to be the strongest explorer. The ending theme “Liberation” that I did with AAAMYYY is a song that expresses the dark side of the work. Both songs turned out better than I imagined them to, not only because of SAIKI’s straightforward and powerful vocals and AAAMYYY’s ephemeral and delicate vocals, but also because of the worldview of the poems that the two of them spun. Once again, I am grateful to have been able to work with the two of them. I am looking forward to seeing how these two songs will sound when combined with the visuals of the anime, and how they will change along with the story!

Having read the original work, I was impressed by the protagonist’s speaking skills and tactics, and felt that it had a different appeal than ordinary battle stories.
I was also touched by his unwavering calm and determination to win.
Like the protagonist, I also hate to lose, so I was excited by the “I won’t lose” spirit and wrote the lyrics.
I’ve sprinkled in words that appear in the work, so I hope you enjoy it.
