Singer-songwriter TOMOO (pronounced: Tomoo) announced at the sold-out Osaka Castle Music Hall performance of “MTV Unplugged Presents: TOMOO Acoustic Tour 2024 “Mirrors”” that a live program featuring the Osaka performance and a special program featuring the making of the tour and the latest interviews will be screened in movie theaters nationwide and broadcast on MTV from 6:00 p.m. on November 24th.
“MTV Unplugged” is a traditional acoustic live show that has been made history by top artists from all over the world, and it is even said that “being able to appear is proof of being first-class.” In Japan, many artists have appeared since Hikaru Utada was the first to appear, but this was TOMOO’s 50th appearance and the first performance to be held at an outdoor venue in Japan, making it a memorable event.
The film will be shown at 11 cinemas across the country. Original random postcards will also be distributed to attendees. We hope everyone will enjoy this special live performance on the big screen.
Advance ticket sales are also available for FC fans. A campaign has also been decided in which 5 people who have completed their ticket purchase will be drawn at random to win a signed “Mirrors” T-shirt (Vanilla White). Singer-songwriter from Tokyo. Started playing piano at the age of six.
Later, he became interested in composing music after he found himself playing around with improvising melodies to the lyrics of songs he had never heard before.
When he entered junior high school, he started composing his own songs, and then started his music career in earnest.
On August 3, 2022, the major 1st digital single “Othello” will be released by PONYCANYON/IRORI Records.
On September 27, 2023, the first album “TWO MOON” will be released. In November of the same year, TOMOO LIVE TOUR 2023-2024 “TWO MOON” will be held.
