KOTORI has released an advance preview of the live video of “June” from their LIVE DVD & Blu-ray “Japanese Super Perfect Tour at Spotify O-EAST,” which will be released on October 23rd, on their official YouTube channel.
The “Japanese Super Perfect Tour” was a tour held in eight cities nationwide to promote the new album “KOTORI” released in May, and all performances were sold out. It was the last tour with the four-member lineup. The LIVE DVD & Blu-ray includes all 24 songs, including the encore, performed at the Spotify O-EAST performance in Tokyo on the first day on June 18th.
“June” is a song included in the first full album “kike”, and is a classic that has been loved since the early days of the band’s activities. The chorus verse is sung along gently in response to the frontman Yokoyama’s heartfelt vocals, and it’s a must-see.
Pre-orders and first-come-first-served purchase bonuses are also available. Tower Records will be giving out clear files, Amazon will be giving out L-size visual sheets, 7net will be giving out tote-type eco bags, and Rakuten BOOKS will be giving out acrylic key chains. Formed in Koshigaya, Saitama in 2014. Belongs to the small indies table.
The emotional singing voice of Yuya Yokoyama (Vo/Gt), who delicately writes about everyday life and shouts loudly, and the strong rhythm create a vivid and outstanding performance, and the rock sound that overwhelms the floor continues to ring out. KOTORI’s music, whose songs resonate endlessly and are sung by the audience, is now in 2023, and is one of the most important bands in the band scene that can resonate greatly with the same generation.
In July 2023, they will perform at the FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ’23 for the third time. The RED MARQUEE stage ended with great success. In September, they held a tour to release their EP “Good Luck” with 27 performances in 25 cities nationwide. The performances were sold out in each area.
In 2024, they will release their fourth new album “KOTORI” on May 29th and hold an album tour in eight cities starting at Shibuya O-EAST on June 18th. They will also appear at major festivals around the country, such as TRIANGLE 2024, ARABAKI ROCK FEST.24, CRAFTROCK FESTIVAL ’24, CAMPASS 2024, Mori, Michi, Ichiba 2024, YON FES, and Lucky Fes!
