Mao Abe celebrated her debut anniversary on January 21, 2024, entering her 15th anniversary year. In August, he released his new album “NOW” and from August to September, he will hold a solo tour “15th Anniversary Abe Mao Solo Live Tour 2024” touring movie theaters, small theaters, Noh theaters, and Kaburenjos nationwide. At the Zepp DiverCity (TOKYO) performance on the first day of the Zepp tour, she showed off a more evolved stage with a set list that included representative songs, hits, and new songs.
It has been a year and a half since Mao Abe Live Tour “Never Never Tour” was held in April 2023 in Tokyo and Osaka. Since this was a tour to commemorate their 15th anniversary, the setlist included a mix of previous singles and album lead songs, allowing you to experience their 15-year career. One of the best parts of this tour is being able to enjoy classic songs from the past with the vocals of “modern Mao Abe.”
Another big point is that you can enjoy the band’s latest album “NOW”. I think the songs on “NOW”, which have arrangements that incorporate current Western music and country tastes, and songs that depict the emotions of the moment, are without a doubt the core of this tour.
“Thanks to all of you, Mao Abe was able to celebrate her 15th anniversary since her debut this year! Thank you so much. I’ve been looking forward to being able to express my gratitude through these words.” After the MC, there was an arrangement of acoustic guitar and piano and vocals. There was also a handheld microphone performance, allowing the audience to enjoy a wide range of staging.

Mao Abe made her debut in 2009 at the age of 19 with the album “Furii”. The nationwide Zepp tour “15th Anniversary Abe Mao Zepp Live Tour 2024” will be held in Sapporo (10/10), Fukuoka (10/17), Nagoya (10/24), and Osaka (10/25). And on January 26, 2025 (Sunday), a one-man live “Abe Mao Live 2025 -15th ANNIVERSARY- at Tokyo Garden Theater” will be held at Tokyo Garden Theater.
