He will appear at a showcase live in Shanghai, China with Homecomings, Bialystocks and others!

Homecomings has announced that they will be performing at the showcase live “Should have been…” to be held in Shanghai, China on November 22nd.

This live performance was held at Bandai Namco Shanghai Cultural Center Dream Theater, which can accommodate 1,000 people, featuring label mate Bialystocks from Japan, fusion band TheBrownieBand from China, and local Shanghai indie rock band LOFT BEACH. It has been decided that he will appear.

This will be the first time in about four and a half years that Homecomings will perform overseas, following their 2019 UK tour.

Homecomings will release their sixth album “see you, frail angel. sea adore you.” on November 27th.

It’s been about a year and a half since their previous work, “New Neighbors,” and this is the first release for the three-member team. This work includes “Moon Shaped,” the theme song for the movie “Mikazuki to Neko,” which topped the USEN J-POP chart, and more. Scheduled to be recorded. Focusing on the core parts of the members themselves, they maintain their gentle and warm presence, while smoothly coexisting with the strength and delicate sensibilities they have accumulated through live tours and numerous festival appearances. With a floating sound that combines alternative, shoegaze, emotronica, and glitch noise, it is a work that shows the band’s new charm and range of expression.

The CD+Blu-ray edition will include footage from the live performance “Homecomings Chamber Set at Billboard Live TOKYO 2024,” in which a string quartet also participated.

In addition, the Tokyo performance of the one-man tour “Angel Near You”, which will be held in 9 cities nationwide including Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka, will be held on December 28th at Zepp Shinjuku (TOKYO), the largest venue to date.

Tickets are currently being accepted, and student discount tickets are also on sale, so please check that out as well.

PROFILE

Homecomings

The members are Ayaka Tatamino (Vo./Gt.), Honami Fukuda (B./Cho), and Yuki Fukutomi (Gt.).

They have been active since their formation in 2012, touring overseas in countries such as Taiwan and the UK, and appearing at “FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL” five times. The song’s soothing melody is accented with lyrics that depict detailed depictions of everyday life, and its aesthetic and somewhat nostalgic singing voice is gaining popularity as music that touches the listeners’ ears.

In 2017, he started the movie and music event “New Neighbors” in collaboration with illustrator Naoya Sanuki. We are hosting a double event featuring a screening of a movie selected by them and an acoustic live performance related to the movie. In 2019, she performed the theme songs for the movies “Liz and the Blue Bird” and “What’s Love?” Vo Tatamino is expanding the range of his activities, such as participating as a guest vocalist in songs by Kururi and ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION. He made his major debut from IRORI Records in 2021, and released his second major album “New Neighbors” last year in 2023.
