It has been decided that “Attack on Titan” orchestral concerts will be held in more than 20 cities around the world.
A soundtrack for the anime “Attack on Titan” created by two exceptional composers, Hiroyuki Sawano and KOHTA YAMAMOTO. The “Attack on Titan” Orchestra Concert, where you can experience many masterpieces loved by fans around the world through animation videos and performances by a live orchestra and vocalists, will be held in Japan at Pacifico Yokohama in August 2021. The overwhelming video/music experience was long talked about by the fans who attended, and requests for the event had long been received from overseas as well.
It has been decided that the “Orchestra Concert” will be performed in more than 20 cities around the world from April 2025 in partnership with “The Wild Faery Company.” This will be the first official overseas concert to be held under the supervision of the “Attack on Titan” composer.
This overseas performance, titled “Attack on Titan -The Official Concert- Beyond the Walls World Tour,” will be held at some of the world’s leading venues, including Los Angeles/Dolby Theater, New York/Carnegie Hall, London/Wembley Arena, and Sydney/Opera House. It has been decided that this will be a “world tour” that will tour the halls of Japan, and just like in Japan, the main animation will be projected on the screen in the background of the orchestra performance, and the music and images will come together to transport the audience to the “Attack on Attack on Titan” stage. This will be an “experiential” concert that will take you into the world of the epic story of “The Giant”.
Detailed information about this concert will be released in due course on the official website of “The Wild Faery Company”. Although the anime “Attack on Titan” has come to an end, there is no doubt that this concert will stir up a storm of excitement all over the world once again.
“Attack on Titan” is a dark fantasy work by Hajime Isayama that was originally serialized in “Bessatsu Shonen Magazine” from 2009 to 2021, and the cumulative circulation of the comic has exceeded 140 million copies worldwide. The TV anime began broadcasting in 2013, and the final season (part 2) of the TV anime “Attack on Titan”, which concludes the series, was broadcast in November 2023. And the final part of the movie “Attack on Titan” THE LAST ATTACK is now being released.
Comment from Hiroyuki Sawano
I am happy that it has been decided that the “Attack on Titan” concert will be held overseas.
The music of “Attack on Titan” has become a very important part of my musical activities, and I feel happy that people overseas can enjoy the music through my work.
Although the work has ended, I think this concert is an important opportunity to connect the work and the fans once again, and I think it will be a stage that is unique to overseas performances, so I will make the most of this opportunity. I hope you enjoy it.
Comment from KOHTA YAMAMOTO
Finally, “Attack on Titan” concerts will be held in countries other than Japan.
I am very happy and excited to be able to deliver an orchestral concert to the many “Attack on Titan” fans who live outside of Japan for the first time!
I am grateful to all the Attack on Titan fans around the world for giving me this opportunity.
Thank you so much!
Although Mr. Sawano and I will not be able to participate in this tour, the concert will be organized under our supervision, including the set list.
The music for “Attack on Titan” will be recreated using the same musical score used in Japan, so please look forward to it!
We hope that many people will be able to experience and enjoy the music of “Attack on Titan” live!
