Work synopsis
One afternoon, seven men and women are in the tea lounge of a luxury hotel. Ayako Nakajo is a freelance writer who conducts research for magazines. Next to me was photographer Haruto Sera. Osamu Yuuki, a company executive, is interviewed. The person playing the piano is Osamu’s mistress, Marimo Tamaki. Rina Minazuki and Reimon Sato are a couple of different ages, with parents and children listening intently to the performance. The main character, Arisa Yuuki, looks down on the scene from the lobby on the second floor.
Arisa and Ayako are university classmates and friends. Their personalities and ways of thinking are completely opposite. Arisa has everything, but the only thing she’s missing is… I’ve been curious about Ayako’s crush since she was a student. She has no interest in her husband Osamu having a mistress. Unable to forget her past experiences, Ayako thought that love and marriage had nothing to do with her, but she gradually became attracted to the younger Sera’s talent and the way he approached her directly. Marimo, a young woman, treats her relationship as a mistress who only receives money from her father’s activities, but before she knows it, she starts to feel jealous of her wife and becomes serious about love.
Runa, the bar owner who gives love advice to Ayako, also falls in love with the young pianist, even though she has a lot of experience. Gradually, the circumstances that each person faces become clear, and as they intertwine one after another, unexpected connections emerge. Where will each of their fates lead to?
