Singer-songwriter Mao Abe has released a live video of “Motto.” from the 15th Anniversary Zepp Tour “15th Anniversary Abe Mao Zepp Live Tour 2024” held in October on her official YouTube channel.
It’s been two and a half years since Mao Abe released a live video with a full band in front of an audience. Moreover, this will be the first time that footage from a standing live house will be released on YouTube.
The “Motto.” released this time is a video from the first day of the Zepp tour held at Zepp DiverCity on October 4th. A single song released in 2011 with band members consisting of Yoshifumi Yoshida (Dr), Jungo Miura (Bas), Tsuyuki Mito (Key), Kenichiro Wada (Gt), akkin (Gt), and Yugo Maeda (Manipulator). is played powerfully. It’s been 10 years since a live video of “Motto.” was released. Please compare it with the footage from the Tokyo International Forum released in 2014 and enjoy the powerful evolution of the past 10 years.
In addition, Space Shower TV is broadcasting a special documentary program that goes behind the scenes of the solo tour commemorating his 15th anniversary and the Zepp tour held in October. You can also enjoy interviews from rehearsals and live footage from the Tokyo performance of several songs, so don’t miss out. On December 29th, they will appear at FM802 RADIO CRAZY, the annual rock year-end party held by FM802 at the end of every year, for the first time in five years.
The only remaining part of the 15th anniversary tour is the Garden Theater in Tokyo on January 26, 2025. The summer solo tour, the autumn Zepp tour, and this month’s two-man live performance with Aina The End and Aya Yamamoto have set lists unique to the anniversary year and Mao Abe’s current performance, making new and old fans alike happy to see them for the first time. Given the overwhelming praise from the audience, there is no doubt that this will be a special live that will even surpass the Nippon Budokan that celebrated its 5th anniversary and the Nippon Budokan that celebrated its 10th anniversary.
