BAND-MAID, the world-famous girl band, has released “Bestie,” a co-composed song with Mike Einziger (Gt) of the American alternative band INCUBUS, which has sold over 23 million albums worldwide. Distribution started on the 17th of May. The jacket artwork, which was released at the same time as the release, was also produced by SAIKI (Vo.).
In May 2023, Mike saw BAND-MAID perform on stage at the “Pointfest Radio Show” held in St. Louis, USA, and praised their high playing ability and intense performance, and the relationship began, and the collaboration began. In addition to the release of “Bestie,” it has also been decided that BAND-MAID will appear as a special guest at Incubus’ performance in Japan on May 1st.
In addition, BAND-MAID continues to collaborate with internationally popular artists, such as recently announcing that they will hold a special performance with Mexico’s super popular three sister band Warning.
BAND-MAID’s steady advance with the goal of “world domination” is something to keep an eye on.

The arena one-man performance was a milestone for BAND-MAID, and their trajectory was expressed through the artwork of a tower. What kind of story will be born centering on the tower? I want to leave behind works that everyone can look forward to and be excited about. For “Bestie,” I asked the artist to create an image of what I felt in the song, which was like traveling with a close friend in the great outdoors.

Maid’s hard rock sound, which is contrary to her appearance, has gained support from fans and media all over the world, and the total number of views on YouTube has exceeded 190 million.
YouTube reaction videos from fans around the world have been released one after another, and have been viewed more than 40 million times. They have received support from rock and metal fans around the world, and have become the most popular girl band overseas, with more than 20,000 people attending their US tour in 2022.
