Aiko has released her annual new year movie on her official YouTube channel, and it has been announced that her new song “Cinema” will begin streaming on January 17th.
In the new year movie, in addition to the release information of the new song, the jacket photo was also released. A portrait of Aiko, wearing a denim jacket and red sweater, smiling and doing peace is shown, and just like the title of the new song, it looks like a scene from a movie. The video is the theme song for the movie “Detective Conan: The Million Dollar Star”, which took first place in 2024 with box office revenue of 15.7 billion yen, and was released in May 2024, which dominated streaming charts. Along with songs including their 45th single “Soushi Soai”, it is a digest video that looks back on their turbulent activities in 2024.
Live footage and off-shots of the aiko Live Tour “Love Like Pop vol.24”, an arena tour that started with the Osaka Castle Hall performance in Osaka in January 2024 and completed a total of 8 performances in 4 cities nationwide, as well as “Soushi Soai” music In addition to the unreleased footage of the video, the opening theme song “skirt” for the TV anime “Apocalypse Hotel” that will be broadcast in 2025 is a music video from the 16th full album “Zanshin Zanjo” released on August 28, 2024. You can enjoy behind-the-scenes footage of the production.
You can also see part of the outdoor free live concert “Love Like Aloha vol.7,” which was held in August 2024 for the first time in six years, and was a memorable live performance in which each person sang while being bathed in the sea breeze. At the end of the new year movie, a new artist photo was also released along with a message from Aiko.
