Saba Sister announced on January 10th that they will be live streaming “Saba TV until the morning! ~Let’s do a New Year’s party! Edition~ (We won’t do it until the morning)” on YouTube Live.
This is the first live broadcast special program since the live broadcast special program that was held the day after the release of their 1st AL “Get Ready!”, which was their major debut released in March 2024, and last time it was a chance to get a glimpse of the members’ daily lives. It was well received for its content. As the title suggests, this time’s content is a New Year’s party, so let’s look forward to seeing what kind of live broadcast it will be.
Saba Sister will release “Happy Nante”, a tie-up song for au’s new New Year’s commercial “Minna de Happiro!”, on New Year’s Day 2025. Saba Sister has also announced that they will be holding a nationwide tour called “Love Letter Tour” featuring guest bands such as Straightener, Sambo Master, cinema staff, KOTORI, FOMARE, Kyusone Nekokami, Galileo Galilei, and Sohei Oyamada Band. Before that tour, we will also hold the “Sabachan Quest Tour” which is a concept tour to visit live houses that we have never been to, so we will talk about the enthusiasm for the tour that will be held in succession from February and the aspirations for 2025 in the special program. A three-piece girls band formed in March 2022 consisting of Nachi (Vo/Gt), Gouke (Dr), and Rumina (Gt).
With lyrics and melodies woven from Nachi’s unique sensibilities and words, the songs and live performances are both universal and original at the same time.
Just five months after their formation, they made their first festival appearance at SUMMER SONIC, and gained attention for their straightforward and honest live performance, and have since appeared at numerous major domestic festival circuit events.
One year after their formation, their attention and popularity grew at an unprecedented speed, to the point where all the venues on their tour were sold out immediately.
They made their major debut with their first full-length album “Get Ready!” released on March 8th (Mackerel Day) last year.
The final performance of the AL release tour, which will be a total of 23 performances, the most ever, will be held at Shibuya CLUB QUATTRO as the first one-man live in July, and tickets are sold out immediately.
In September of the same year, they released the EP “That Night’s Story” and held another one-man performance at the final performance of the national tour supporting the same work.
Less than three months after their first one-man live, they immediately completed their one-man show at Zepp DC, which was more than three times the venue size of the previous one, and although it has been less than three years since their formation, they have continued to steadily expand in scale.
