ー ー Mr. Takagi will appear from a short animation broadcast before the TV series in 2021.
I heard that it is a work based on Miyu Takagi golf, and is it a spo or a hard -faced feeling? It was very fresh to say that it was a youth that depicts the girls’ everyday life.
-How did Mr. Katagiri touched the work when writing Minami’s character song?
Katagiri: I also had the image of golf and far away, but through “Sky -blue Utility”, if I noticed, the golf was familiar. There are some moments that remind me of the everyday life of adorable characters, but sometimes reminds me that I had this kind of thing. When I noticed, I enjoyed watching it. I think it’s such a youth story where golf is familiar and you will notice the importance of your friends.
— I would like to ask about Minami Aoba, the main character. First of all, what kind of impression did Takagi have in playing?
I heard that I was a normal high school student who is not good at the Takagi exercise, and I wondered if she was a little shy, and when I opened the lid, she was innocent and energetic. It’s like an adolescent child who enjoyed it at school, but felt something wasn’t enough. In this TV series, it was more expressive than when it was a short story, and I also played with the attitude of enjoying the new world and enjoying it.
ー ー Mr. Katagiri works on such a character song of Minami. By the way, is it the first time Katagiri -san to provide songs to these characters?
Katagiri is the first time. Originally I love anime, and I really like character songs. I’m snuggling up to the work, singing as if the character is talking, the lyrics, melody, and singing voice are all character songs! There is something like that. So I wanted to write this kind of thing at the stage I was talking about.
-You, you’ve been working on the production while assuming you to write a carase.
When I was doing Katagiri hakubi, I told me what I thought, but this time I was very conscious of writing Minami.
-How did you feel about Minami, the center of the song?
I also thought that Takagi Katagiri said. A straight and innocent girl who is very expressive. I want to do something, but I’m sending every day I can’t find something. I think that’s why many people have it. But I think it’s difficult to find something from there and find something you like or work hard. Minami is a girl who has the power to face and proceed from the front. That’s the case to challenge a difficult sport called golf, and I met a golf and felt like a strong girl who had the heart of “this is it!”
-Is it possible to make songs smoothly by doing that analysis?
Katagiri Anyway, I was excited. Because it is a world that could not be written with hakubi. If I wrote it, the character song had a feeling that the character wanted the character to be talking, so I was able to work on it with a feeling of a fan.
-There is an impression that there are many “!” At the end of the word. Did you think in advance that you are using a game, Minami’s hobby, as a motif of lyrics?
Katagiri That’s right. When I talked with the staff, what kind of child is Minami? Starting with, is it a game after all? and. Minami can replace everything with a game. I sometimes (take the plastic bottle in front of me) and say “This is a recovery medicine!” (Laughs), but Minami comes out a lot in everyday conversations The game world is spreading in your head. The lyrics began when she was replacing everything she thought with a game.
-The mentality of Minami is exactly the lyrics. From the perspective of Takagi, how was Katagiri’s lyrics?
Takagi: It was too perfect for Minami, and the lyrics of the anime video came to mind.
Thank you Katagiri …! I’m really happy to say that in Minami’s voice (laughs).
-It seems that the story of Minami you met with golf is drawn. It’s also nice to meet your friends and get to the golf you play with from the basic solo play called the game.
Katagiri At first, it feels like opening from a very narrow world. I think it was a depiction that was there since the short story, but when I turned down, I couldn’t see what I couldn’t see, but I came up with the image that the empty I looked up was so large. When I looked up from the solo play, there were many people, and there were many things, and I wanted to draw a big world of “I found something important.” From now on, I was expanding the scenery of Minami’s life as an image.
-I said that the blue sky was spreading when he raised the gaze he had dropped on to the song.
Takagi rust is exactly the case. It feels like standing in a large place.
Katagiri There is a feeling that it is starting to move from the rust. I imagine the melody of the melody. I thought that if I compared it in color, it would be blue or sky blue. I wrote that the exhilaration of carbonated juice could be played, or that if it was Minami, it would sing lightly like this.
-The story of Minami begins here. It seems that Katagiri -san was in charge of Takagi’s vocal direction here.
Katagiri Yes, I would like to bother you. When I first listened to Takagi’s vocals, I was of course saying “Minami …!” It would be like this, “I was so overwhelmed that it was too much, and I felt like” Thank you, thank you …! “(Laughs).
ー ー I see (laughs). What was the direction like?
Katagiri: This is the first time we have a vocal direction. In the first place, HAKUBI is a vocal, so this is the first time I was on the recording site other than myself. It was such a memorable recording. Mr. Takagi’s vocals were Minami from the first voice, and at that time the shape of “My Treasure!”, But from that I told you, “Why don’t you sing like this?” The more the expression is, the deeper the expression. Every time I took over, my expression changed dramatically, “Wow, this is amazing …!” (Laughs). I was listening with applause.
Takagi I’m happy, thank you (laughs).
Katagiri: And Takagi -san was at the end of the dubbing, so I wonder if the same scenery could be shared. In the direction, I was able to speak in common languages such as “Feeling of the swelling of Minami at that time”, “a glittering smile feeling”, and “face when playing gacha and gacha came off.” But there was a sense of understanding.
Takagi: Yes, Katagiri -san tells me in the video. It was very easy to understand, and I sang and opened various drawers.
Katagiri No, it was a lot of fun. The arrangement Sato (Atsushi) also said, “This direction is rare.”
Takagi: I’m looking back at the memo at the time of recording, but at the “Celebration with all my might”, it says “high -touch”. Tell me, “This line is like this.” “My Treasure!” Has a lot of expressions that I couldn’t do alone.
-The completion of “My Treasure!”, Are there any points that you are particularly particular about?
Katagiri Overall, as a bit of depression at first, he notices something as he goes from A melody to B melody. And when it becomes rust, it opens, meet and start moving … I would like to be able to express the process of finding a “tan” as Minami’s life starts to move. In such a situation, the expression of Minami, which is different from the roller, is not poetic, but is colloquial. The point is that it is a line or something that is not poetic. I was aware that Minami was talking and singing.
Takagi That’s right. I think Minami has a pretty bright image, but the nuance of the first A melody was a little lost and recorded several times. I felt that I was able to find the right salt plum, not just bright, so I was able to enter at once.
-Surely, the first A melody is the most depressing place in this song, not just the brightness of Minami.
Takagi If the negative emotions are too strong, it will not be Minami, but I think there are many people who want to change but do not change, and that people can sympathize with such people. I think I could get it. Mr. Katagiri is usually sung in his own band, so he was able to understand the points to be aware of when singing in an easy -to -understand manner.
Katagiri Speaking of which, I was directly directly (laughs).
Takagi was very easy to understand.
