KOTORI has announced that they will hold a floor live at Tower Records Shibuya on May 31st in support of their new album “KOTORI” which will be released on May 29th.
We took over the 3rd floor of the same store and performed a special one-night-only live performance with a band set. This is a lottery for those who have purchased the new album, so be sure to check it out.
The self-titled album “KOTORI” is his fourth full album work, and includes “Hijiri”, which was written as the ending theme for the TV anime “Under Ninja”, as well as “DAWN”, “Heartbeat” and ” Contains a total of 11 songs, including “Tokyo” and “Overdrive,” which has been selected as the power play of May on 21 radio stations nationwide. There are two versions: a CD+DVD version and a CD only version, and the DVD will include a documentary video of the tour final held to a full house at Ebisu LIQUIDROOM on January 30, 2024. In the documentary video, you can also get a glimpse of off-shots of the members on the day of the concert, as well as scenes from the floor during the heated live performance.
From June, it has been decided that a nationwide solo live tour will be held in support of the new album. The tour title is “Japanese Super Perfect Tour.” Starting with the Spotify O-EAST performance in Shibuya on June 18th, the event will be held in eight cities. Tickets are on sale to the general public. The Tokyo and Hiroshima shows are already sold out, and the previous tour is also selling out in many places, so get there early.

KOTORI
A four-person band formed in Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture in 2014. Belongs to small indies table.
Yuya Yokoyama’s (Vo/Gt) emotional singing voice delicately spells out daily life and screams out loud, and the strong rhythm creates a raw yet outstanding performance that continues to overwhelm the floor with a rock sound. KOTORI’s music, whose unstoppable songs reverberate and are sung by the audience from generation to generation, is the most important band in the band scene that can create a great resonance among their generation in the year 2023.
In July 2023, he will appear at the third “FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ’23”. The RED MARQUEE stage ended with great success. Starting in September, the EP “Good Luck” release tour will be held with 27 performances in 25 cities nationwide. There were a number of sold-out performances in various locations.
In 2024, he will release his fourth new album “KOTORI” on May 29th, and will hold an album tour in 8 cities, starting with Shibuya O-EAST on June 18th.
