Abe Mao has released a collaboration video between her new song “Sugata tame ni” (To make progress), released on May 29th, and the manga “Kimi wa Wasureru Koi ga Shitai”! It will also be aired on her regular radio show for the first time!

A collaboration video between singer-songwriter Abe Mao’s new song “Masutsumatameni” and the popular manga “Kimi wa Wasureru Koi ga Shitai,” the second volume of which has just been released, has been released on the official Bessatsu Margaret YouTube channel.

In the collaboration video, Abe Mao’s music and lyrics are fused with the famous scene from “Kimi wa Wasureru Koi ga Shitai,” creating a perfect harmony that complements each other’s worldview. Abe Mao, who wrote the image song, and author Yuuki Yu, who requested it, are the realization of an ideal collaboration that respects each other’s creativity.

This video features the first performance of just one chorus of Abe Mao’s new song “Masutsuka tame ni” (Toward the Future), so be sure to listen to it over and over again along with the second volume of the comic and enjoy it thoroughly.

The new song “Masuda tame ni” (To advance), which will be released as a digital single on May 29th, was written as an image song to commemorate the release of the second volume of the popular manga “Kimi wa Wasureru Koi ga Shitai” (I want to fall in love with you), which is currently being serialized in Shueisha’s “Bessatsu Margaret”. The distribution jacket is also a special collaboration drawn by the author, Yu Yuuki, for this image song.

It has also been decided that the full version of “Masumasu Tame ni” will be broadcast on the radio for the first time. It will be aired for the first time on May 26th on FM FUJI’s regular program “Abe Mao’s Brighten Your Sunday,” which Abe Mao has been hosting as a DJ since April. Don’t miss this, too.

Abe Mao will release her new album “NOW” on August 7th, which will include “Masutsuga Tame ni”. Her solo tour “15th Anniversary Abe Mao Solo Live Tour 2024”, which will visit four locations nationwide from August to September, has already sold out at all locations. In October, she will hold the Zepp tour “15th Anniversary Abe Mao Zepp Live Tour 2024” at five locations nationwide.
