KOTORI has announced that they will be holding their first band-sponsored festival in three years, “TORI ROCK FESTIVAL 2024.” The festival will be held at CLUB CITTA’ Kawasaki for two days on October 29th and 30th. The bands performing on each day will be announced at a later date.
In addition, the latest advance ticket reservation will be available as a special bonus with the new album “KOTORI” to be released on May 29th. The period for the advance ticket reservation will end on June 11th at 11:59pm. The 2-day pass will only be sold through the advance ticket reservation and the official advance ticket reservation, which will start at a later date, so be sure to check early. The self-titled album “KOTORI” is the band’s fourth full-length album, and includes 11 songs, including “Himitsu,” written as the ending theme for the TV anime “Under Ninja,” “DAWN,” “Heartbeat,” and “Tokyo,” which were released digitally, and “Overdrive,” which has been selected as a power play for May on 21 radio stations nationwide. It is available in two formats, CD+DVD and CD-only, and the DVD includes a documentary of the tour finale, which was held on January 30th at Ebisu LIQUIDROOM in front of a packed house. The documentary also includes behind-the-scenes shots of the band members on the day of the live, as well as glimpses of the excitement on the floor during the main live performance.
On May 31st, they will also be holding a live performance at Tower Records Shibuya. They will take over the 3rd floor of the store and perform a special one-night-only live performance with a band set. There will be a lottery for those who purchase the new album, so be sure to check it out.
Starting in June, they will hold a nationwide solo live tour to promote their new album. The tour title is “Japanese Super Perfect Tour”. It will be held in eight cities, starting with the Shibuya Spotify O-EAST performance on June 18th. Tickets are on sale now. The Tokyo and Hiroshima performances have already sold out, and the previous tour was also sold out in various places, so be sure to get your tickets early.

KOTORI
A four-member band formed in Koshigaya, Saitama in 2014. They are affiliated with Small Indies Table.
The emotional singing voice of Yuya Yokoyama (Vo/Gt), who delicately writes about everyday life and shouts loudly, and the strong rhythm create a vivid and outstanding performance, and the rock sound that overwhelms the floor continues to ring out. KOTORI’s music, whose songs resonate endlessly and are sung by the audience, is now in 2023, and it is the most important band in the band scene that can resonate greatly with the same generation.
In July 2023, they will perform at the FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ’23 for the third time. The RED MARQUEE stage ended with great success. In September, they held a tour to release their EP “Good Luck” with 27 performances in 25 cities nationwide. The performances were sold out in each area.
In 2024, they will release their fourth new album “KOTORI” on May 29th and hold an album tour in eight cities starting at Shibuya O-EAST on June 18th. They will also appear at major festivals around the country, such as TRIANGLE 2024, ARABAKI ROCK FEST.24, CRAFTROCK FESTIVAL ’24, CAMPASS 2024, Mori, Michi, Ichiba 2024, YON FES, and Lucky Fes!
