GLAY releases new song music video teaser on debut anniversary! Many other anniversary projects announced.

GLAY is celebrating its 30th anniversary since its debut. With their anniversary year finally about to begin, GLAY have announced some additional plans for their anniversary.

First, they released a teaser for “whodunit -GLAY × JAY (ENHYPEN)-,” which will be included in the 30th anniversary debut single. The teaser is a glimpse of JAY, a member of the global group ENHYPEN, and GLAY performing together ahead of the full music video release on May 29th, and it’s already building up anticipation for the main feature.

Many other collaborations have also been announced, including a collaboration with the nationwide convenience store chain Lawson Group, titled the first project of the “GLAY 30th Anniversary x Lawson Group” project, with the Higashi-Ikebukuro store. In addition to GLAY decorations outside the store, the collaboration will include the latest GLAY single and books with special benefits exclusive to the collaboration store, and official goods will be sold ahead of the Belluna Dome concert on Saturday, June 8th and Sunday, June 9th. In July, Lawson stores (approximately 3,500 stores) and HMV stores will be selling “GLAY 30th Anniversary Wafer Collect Boxes,” which are wafers with collaboration product cards, and the “Become Karaage-kun Plush Toys (4 types in total)” and “30th Anniversary Illustration Character Fine Art (with reproductions of GLAY members’ signatures)” will also be sold on a made-to-order basis.

Next, a large-scale collaboration with amusement company GENDA GiGO Entertainment will be held in June. There will be a must-buy campaign, GiGO-exclusive crane game prizes, limited-time sales of GLAY collaboration baked goods and drinks with novelty items, a GLAY Ikebukuro advertisement takeover plan, and original store-exclusive background music plans, among other exciting plans.

And finally, a collaboration with Yahoo! Search. Yahoo! Search released a special content called “Find GLAY” for a limited time to commemorate the 30th anniversary of GLAY’s debut. In addition, a celebratory performance was held on May 25th only, where hearts were completed according to the number of searches.
