The four-member pop rock band Manpuku has begun streaming their new song “Floating Clouds.”
This song is one of the most rock and roll numbers that Manpuku has released so far. It was first performed at the solo live show “Manpuku One-Man Live “Hara Ichibunme”” held at Shimokitazawa Chikamatsu on April 5th, and it immediately got the audience excited.
After their first solo concert in December 2023, which was sold out at their hometown Miyajigakki Hall Small Hall in Koganei, Tokyo, Manpuku will be holding solo concerts at live music venues. This song is likely to become an important one for them.
It has also been decided that the second solo live series, “Manpuku Solo Live ‘Half-full'” will be held at Shimokitazawa SHELTER in September.
Manpuku is a pop rock band that mainly works in Tokyo. Formed in Koganei, Tokyo in October 2020, the band has gradually attracted attention for the unforgettable songs and words spun by guitarist and vocalist Sakano Hikari, and the unique songs woven by members with diverse musicality, and their first album “Manpuku” has garnered praise from some media and early listeners. Manpuku’s music, which is always centered on “songs” that are not influenced by trends, fills both the heart and the ears. Since 2023, they have been actively performing live mainly in Tokyo, making their first appearance at events such as MINAMI WHEEL 2023 and Bread, Music and Antiques 2023. They are gradually coming to prominence, successfully holding one-man live shows one after another.
On May 29th, the release date of “Floating Clouds,” they will appear at Shibuya eggman, on May 30th at an event at Shinjuku LOFT, and on June 1st they will make their first appearance at “SAKAE SP-RING 2024,” one of the largest live circuits in the Tokai region.
