Maaya Uchida & Yuuma Uchida, brother and sister collaboration single to be released! Yuuma Uchida’s first partner in the band battle project will be Maaya Uchida!

The siblings Uchida Maaya and Uchida Yuuma are popular voice actors and artists, both in name and in reality, having appeared in many popular works as voice actors and successfully held a solo concert at the Nippon Budokan as artists. To mark the 10th anniversary of Uchida Maaya’s debut as an artist, the siblings have decided to produce a collaborative song and release a single. In addition, it has been decided that Uchida Maaya will be the first artist in Uchida Yuuma’s joint band project “VS YUMA”.

This information was announced as a surprise during a live Instagram broadcast commemorating the 6th anniversary of Uchida Yuuma’s debut as an artist, which was broadcast at the same time as the special program commemorating Uchida Maaya’s album release.

The collaboration single between Maaya Uchida and Yuuma Uchida will be released on September 25th. The first limited edition will include a full-color booklet, as well as a bonus Blu-ray with a music video by the siblings and the making of the video. Please look forward to the release to see how this collaboration CD between the siblings will turn out.

It was also announced that Uchida Maaya will be the first artist in the band battle project “VS YUMA,” which was announced at Uchida Yuuma’s live concert at Nippon Budokan in April, and that the concert will take place on September 28th and 29th at the National Hall of Pacifico Yokohama in Kanagawa. Advance ticket sales have started at Uchida Maaya’s official fan club “LIFE IS LIKE A SUNNY DAY” and Uchida Yuuma’s official fan club “Beside YU.” Tickets will be accepted until June 10th, so make sure you don’t miss this rare opportunity to see the Uchida siblings perform together on stage.

In addition, Yuuma Uchida has decided to digitally release the theme song for his own band project “VS YUMA”. It will be distributed on August 23rd, so be sure to check it out along with the live performance.

Maaya Uchida Profile
Born on December 27th, in Tokyo.
She has played the role of Takanashi Rikka in “Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!”, Norman in “The Promised Neverland”, and Katarina in “My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!”, and won the Newcomer Actress Award at the 8th Seiyu Awards in 2014. In addition, she has expanded her activities as a singer, and has successfully completed a total of seven live tours since last September, and released her fourth album “TOKYO-BYAKUYA” on May 29, 2024, which will be her first physical release in about three years.

As a voice actor, he has played leading roles in many popular works such as “BANANA FISH”, and won the Best Actor Award at the 13th Seiyuu Awards.
