(Award winning work decided!) Announcement of results for Recochoku[“Drawing Sound Landscape” Painting Contest in 2025]Hosted by Recochoku

Recochoku Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Itabashi Toru, hereinafter referred to as “Recochoku”) held a painting contest[“Drawing Sound Landscapes” in 2025]for elementary and junior high school students living in Shibuya Ward between Monday, February 3rd and Friday, March 21st, 2025.

This was the first time we had to hold a painting contest since its founding, but we received more entries than we expected. We would like to inform you that 21 award-winning works have been decided after a strict judgment.

Since its founding in 2001, Recochoku has been supporting a variety of “scenes with music” through the power of digital. This contest was held with the desire to allow elementary and junior high school students in Shibuya, a music town where Recochoku is headquartered, to paint “sound scenery” with free ideas and sensibilities.

The winning works were the Grand Prize, Semi-Grand Prize, Excellence Award, and the Recochoku Prize, which was voted on by employee. All winning works are available on the official website.

Please take a look at the “sound scenery” that each individual draws.

[Chairman of the Jury / Review by Itabashi Toru, CEO of Recochoku Co., Ltd.]

I could hear a variety of sounds from all of the works, and I received great energy from the sensibilities of elementary and junior high school students. Among them, I selected works that make you hear “sound” the moment you see the painting, and works that are filled with sights of sounds.

Not only me, but many other employees participated in the vote, and the “Recochoku Award” was selected.

Thank you for entering this contest.

Final examination

Unfortunately, the works that were not selected this time were all wonderful and creativity. Thank you for applying.

The winning works will be featured on the official website of this contest, and will be introduced at the digital signage at the entrance to Recochoku’s new office, which moved in January this year.
