Recochoku releases concept movie “The vibrations of sound, past x present x future” that looks back on history since its founding


Recochoku Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Itabashi Toru, hereinafter referred to as “Recochoku”) has released its concept movie “Past x Present x Future, the Vibration of Sound,” with an eye toward the 25th anniversary of its founding year in 2026.

The core of this article is the “history of how to enjoy music.”

The “Enjoying and carrying music” which was once limited to recording media such as records, cassettes, and CDs has now become even easier thanks to downloading and streaming playback to mobile phones and smartphones.

Recochoku, which was jointly invested in a major domestic record company in 2001, launched its “Challenge®” service, which was an innovative at the time, “enjoy music with CDs on your mobile phone.” For over 20 years since then, we have been supporting the evolution of how we enjoy music by continuing to develop and provide services that match changes in devices and listening styles.

This movie compares the changes in how music is enjoyed and Recochoku’s journey to “waves.” With the cooperation of all the up-and-coming creators, this was completed.
