It was revealed today, Saturday, June 22nd, that the music video for her new song “Zettai Idol Yumenai de” (Don’t Quit Being an Idol), released on YouTube, has surpassed 5 million views in 11 days since its release. This is her 10th music video to reach 5 million views, following “It’s Not Fair, It’s Not Fair,” “Shukipi,” “Want You! Want You!,” “Anoko Complex,” “Be Selfish,” “Kono Sora ga Trigger,” “Natsumatope,” “Shika Last Note Shika Shiranai,” and “Norotte Norotte.”
“Zettai Idol Ni Naide” is the title track of their 17th new single, scheduled to be released on July 31st (Wednesday). It is the ultimate love song that sings of the strong love of fans who wish their idol happiness while wanting them to remain idols forever. The music video, which was created with the theme of “preserving cuteness,” has already become a hot topic for its scenes using various items such as flowers and the moon as motifs, and the fantastic world view that makes =LOVE’s members feel like “eternal beings,” and has exceeded 1 million views in 24 hours, the fastest record for =LOVE.
