Asmi, “the singing voice most used on social media,” has released the music video for “Anone,” from her first major album, “Ribbon,” released in May.
asmi had announced that she would be releasing a music video for a song on “Ribbon” on Wednesday, July 3rd, and with its premiere on YouTube, it was surprisingly announced that the song in question was “Anone.”
“Anone” is a song written and composed by Asmi herself, and arranged by Maeshima Sshi. In the music video, Asmi can be seen walking alone on the beach, facing forward, and playing on a merry-go-round at an amusement park.
Asmi is currently in the middle of the Asmi Special Live Tour 2024 “Unravel the Ribbon”, which is touring nine cities across Japan to promote her album “Ribbon”.
They will perform at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo on Saturday, July 6th, and at Zepp Namba in Osaka on Sunday, July 14th.
“Ribbon” also includes the new song “Seken-sama,” written and composed by Wanuka, who also teamed up with MAISONdes on “Yowanehaki,” and arranged by 100 Kaibou; “PAKU,” which has been viewed an astonishing 3.5 billion times on TikTok and caused a huge buzz; “Dokimeki Diary,” which was also the opening theme for the TV anime “Pokémon;” “UTAGE,” which features Rinne, Kubota Kai, A Natsume, ICARUS, and Kizuna; and “Koi,” which is being used as the 2024 commercial song for “Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport.”
The limited edition of her first major album, “Ribbon,” has been produced with the theme of “A Letter from Asmi,” and is housed in an envelope-sized package. Inside the letter-like package, there is a lyric sheet that looks like stationery, each disc comes in a letter-style case, and it has also been decided that a Polaroid-style card made from Asmi’s live photos will be included.
In addition to the CD, two Blu-ray discs will be included.
Each DVD contains two live performance videos: the asmi special live tour “Do you know me?” held at Namba Hatch in Osaka on Friday, December 23, 2022, and the asmi special live “Wonder Closet” held at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA in Tokyo on Thursday, November 23, 2023.

With her unique and adorable voice, she sings about the romantic worries and everyday thoughts of a girl her age.
She has created a huge buzz with her own song “memory” and MAISONdes’ “Yowanehaki feat. Wanuka, asmi,” which won the TikTok Buzzword Awards 2021 Music Category Award, and her song “PAKU,” released in March 2022, also won the TikTok 2022 First Half Trend Challenge Category Award, making her a new generation pop icon with the singing voice most used on social media.
