Asmi, “the most used voice on social media,” has released a surprise digital version of “UTAGE REMIX” and also released the Music Video at the same time.
“UTAGE” is a track included in the band’s first major album “Ribbon” released in May, and also features Rinne, Kubota Kai, A Natsume, ICARUS, and Kizuna, with the remix done by Taro Ishida.
“UTAGE REMIX” was a song that was played at the end of each performance of the asmi special live tour 2024 “Untie the Ribbon”, which toured nine cities across Japan and just concluded on Sunday, July 14th at Zepp Namba in Osaka. After the Osaka performance, asmi herself announced the surprise release of the song on Monday, July 15th. Until now, only people who came to the live venue could hear this song, but now it has finally been released.
Asmi has just completed the asmi special live tour 2024 “Untie the Ribbon,” but has also decided to hold a new acoustic live tour, asmi special acoustic live tour 2024 “Twilight,” starting in September.
In addition to “UTAGE,” their first major album “Ribbon” also includes “PAKU,” which has been played an astonishing 3.5 billion times on TikTok and caused a huge buzz, “Dokimeki Diary,” which was also the opening theme for the TV anime “Pokémon,” and “Koi,” which is being used as the 2024 commercial song for Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport.
The limited edition of her first major album, “Ribbon,” has been produced with the theme of “A Letter from Asmi,” and is housed in an envelope-sized package. Inside the letter-like package, there is a lyric sheet designed to look like stationery, each disc comes in a letter-style case, and it has also been decided that a Polaroid-style card made from Asmi’s live photos will be included.
In addition to the CD, two Blu-ray discs will be included.
Each DVD contains two live performance videos: the asmi special live tour “Do you know me?” held at Namba Hatch in Osaka on Friday, December 23, 2022, and the asmi special live “Wonder Closet” held at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA in Tokyo on Thursday, November 23, 2023.

With her unique and adorable voice, she sings about the romantic worries and everyday thoughts of a girl her age.
She has created a huge buzz with her own song “memory” and MAISONdes’ “Yowanehaki feat. Wanuka, asmi,” which won the TikTok Buzzword Awards 2021 Music Category Award, and her song “PAKU,” released in March 2022, also won the TikTok 2022 First Half Trend Challenge Category Award, making her a new generation pop icon with the singing voice most used on social media.
