=LOVE’s 17th single “Never Quit Being an Idol” special release event will be held at Tower Records Shibuya in Tokyo!

The idol group =LOVE, produced by Rino Sashihara, is unstoppable, as soon as the music video for “Zettai Idol Quit” was released, the title track of their long-awaited 17th single, which will be released on Wednesday, July 31st, it reached 1 million views in just 24 hours, the fastest in their history (ranking #1 on YouTube’s “Trending Videos” and #4 on Japan’s “Rapidly Rising Music”). The video has now been viewed over 6.5 million times, making for a video that’s showing no signs of slowing down.

“Never Quit Being an Idol” has been a hot topic, having reached number one on the music distribution service LINE MUSIC’s Top 100 Daily Songs and hitting a record high of 10 million daily plays on TikTok. A special release event for the album was held at Tower Records Shibuya in Tokyo.

This event was held on a first-come, first-served basis for those who reserved “Never Quit Being an Idol” on the day of the event, and the lucky users who managed to get a ticket were able to participate in a farewell party with the band members. The event was held today at Tower Records Shibuya in Tokyo, with members Emiri Otani, Maika Sasaki, Shoko Takiwaki, and Anna Yamamoto in attendance, and many fans rushed to join in the special occasion. This rare event, where you can meet the band members directly, was held for only three shows, including the Osaka show on Wednesday, July 17th at Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Umeda with Kana Ooba, Risa Otoshima, and Iori Noguchi, and the Nagoya show on Tuesday, July 18th at Fukiage Hall 1st Fashion Exhibition Hall with Kirara Saito, Hitomi Takamatsu, and Sana Morohashi, and all the shows were a big success.

=LOVE will finally release their long-awaited 17th single “Zettai Idol Yumenai de” next week on July 31st (Wednesday). We hope you will enjoy the product. In September, =LOVE’s 7th anniversary concert “=LOVE 7th ANNIVERSARY PREMIUM CONCERT” will be held at K Arena Yokohama in Kanagawa Prefecture, which will be the largest concert they have ever held, and a joint concert “Ikonoi Joy 2024” by =LOVE, ≠ME, and ≒JOY has also been decided to be held at Fuji-Q Highland Conifer Forest in Yamanashi Prefecture. As they run through the summer and energetically expand the scope of their activities, keep an eye on =LOVE.
