Ikuta herself also participated in writing the lyrics, and it is also noteworthy that the lyrics are based on episodes from everyday life.

If they don’t find it, it’s a “win,” but if they don’t, it’s sad.

■ Erika Ikuta Profile

Erika Ikuta is a solo artist who uses vocals and piano to create music that connects with the everyday lives of her listeners.

She graduated from Nogizaka46 in 2021 and is currently active in a wide range of fields, including musicals, TV dramas, and movies.

She has also appeared in various works as an actress. In December 2023, she was the Japanese voice actor for the main character Asha in Disney’s 100th anniversary film “Wishes”. Her solid singing ability, which has led to her appearances in numerous music programs and musicals, and her piano skills, which she has honed since childhood, have been highly praised from all quarters. Her desire to explore music knows no bounds, and she began writing lyrics and composing on her own during the self-restraint period due to the spread of the new coronavirus. As a solo artist, she began performing live in 2022, and in the fall of 2023, she held a national tour called Erika Ikuta Autumn Live Tour 2023, with nine performances at five locations across the country. All performances were SOLD OUT, and the tour finale was held at Tokyo International Forum Hall A in October. On April 10, 2024, she released her first EP “capriccioso”, which was her debut as a solo artist.
