To commemorate the 10th anniversary of MAN WITH A MISSION’s third album “Tales of Purefly” released on March 12, 2014, it has been decided that the phantom storybook included in the first edition will be digitally reprinted.
“Tales of Purefly” is MAN WITH A MISSION’s first concept album, which depicts a story through all 13 songs in the album and challenges three-dimensional expression. The artwork was illustrated by Dynamic Productions, led by Go Nagai, who is known for works such as “Devilman”. The first production limited edition comes with a storybook depicting an original science fiction adventure inspired by the recorded songs, and it attracted a lot of attention at the time of its release as a masterpiece that combines an epic story and visuals. Currently, there are many voices that are difficult to obtain, and in order to reach fans around the world, it will be translated into multiple languages on the occasion of the 10th anniversary, and will be digitally reprinted this winter. In this digitization, some of the illustrations have been animated, creating a story movie that unfolds along with rearranged songs. Details will be announced later.
In addition to this digitalization, it has also been decided that an anniversary box set “Tales of Purefly Complete Box”, which is exclusively made to order, will be released on December 25th to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the product’s release.
“Tales of Purefly Complete Box” compiles the world view of the work in a luxurious LP-sized box. In addition to the CD album, the storybook has been reprinted in large format, and the live DVD/BD “Wolf Daizenshuu III”, which includes footage from the “Tales of Purefly Tour 2014” held at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Center in 2014, will be included. Packing. It also comes with goods such as a hooded towel modeled on the world of “Tales of Purefly” and original design stickers and postcards exclusive to this product, making it a coveted item with an added collectible element.
In addition, MAN WITH A MISSION is scheduled to hold an arena tour titled “MAN WITH A “15th” MISSION PLAY WHAT U WANT TOUR 2025” starting in February next year.
This is an arena tour to commemorate the 15th anniversary, with 11 performances in 8 cities nationwide, starting with Miyagi’s Sekisui Heim Arena.
In commemoration of the band’s 15th anniversary, a voting project called “CHOOSE WHAT U WANT ~ALL STAR MY BEST SONGS~” will be held in which the set list will be determined by fan voting on 15 songs. In addition to the 15 songs selected by fan voting, members and staff members also voted for this voting project. The plan is to complete a setlist for each performance on that day.
