It has been announced that the live event “GAPPA ROCKS ISHIKAWA” to support the Noto Peninsula will be held at the Ishikawa Prefectural Industrial Exhibition Hall on Saturday, May 10th, 2025.

GAPPA ROCKS ISHIKAWA

Ishikawa Prefecture was affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake in 2024. Even now, a year after the earthquake, many areas dotted with no recovery work has been completed, and artists who have continued to support disaster-stricken areas across the country, including Tohoku and Kumamoto. Artists who have supported the project, including SamboMaster, Kuromu, BRAHMAN, ORANGE RANGE, MONGOL800, Maximum the Hormon, MAN WITH A MISSION, and Kishidan, mainly artists who have supported the disaster-stricken areas after the Noto Peninsula earthquake. It has been decided that the group will gather together and hold a support event called “GAPPA ROCKS ISHIKAWA” to support the recovery and reconstruction of the Noto Peninsula.

The event will be held in Kanazawa City, the center of Ishikawa, Hokuriku. The venue is the Ishikawa Prefectural Industrial Exhibition Hall, which has been accepting evacuees and relief supplies since the disaster, and attracts music users who think not only about Ishikawa Prefecture, but also the Hokuriku area and all over the country, to Kanazawa.

The event also includes numerous support groups that continue to operate on the Noto Peninsula. In addition to informing visitors from all over the country about the current situation and the need for continued support, there will also be a free invitation to Okunoto junior and senior high school students who will be responsible for the future recovery, as well as people from Ishikawa Prefecture. Through this event, music fans from all over Japan and other countries will also be interacted with children who will be responsible for the future of the local Noto Peninsula. Tickets will start accepting advance reservations (lottery) on the event official website starting today, Sunday, February 23rd.

In addition, proceeds from this support event will be donated as “support funds” to support organizations that will be continuing activities on the Noto Peninsula from January 2024.
