Kitani Tatsuya has been decided to be in charge of the theme song for “The Movie Compilation Jujutsu Kaisen: Hoshitama/Tamaori,” which is scheduled to be released on Friday, May 30th, 2025.
The song is “Ao no Sumika (Acoustic ver.),” which is an adaptation of the opening theme of the TV series for the theatrical use.

“Blue no Umika” was the word “blue” that expresses the two opposing images of the idea of youth. The musicality was in line with this, so I was very pleased that many people gave contradictory comments such as “it’s a refreshing song” and “it’s a sad song”, but this time I tried my best to give “Ao no Sumika” a different look. “Jujutsu Kaisen” is also a mysterious and deep work that shows various faces depending on who watches, so I am pleased to be able to participate again like this.

The preview has finally been released in preparation for the release of “Jujutsu Kaisen: Theatrical Compilation: Theatrical Compilation: Jujutsu Kaisen: The Boys and Tamaori,” a special compilation of all five episodes of the TV series. This work depicts the episodes of “The Strongest Two” Gojo Satoru and Natsuyu Takeshi from his days as a technical college. The theme song has also been released along with the footage that captures the highlights of the story! The theme song for the special compilation will be “Ao no Sumika (Acoustic ver.),” an arranged version of the opening theme of the TV series, and the emotional song gently colores the story.
In addition, the entire music will be remixed to match the theatrical environment of 5.1ch surround, and some of the songs will be rearranged for the theatrical version. Enjoy this special compilation that brings back your “strongest youth.”

He began posting songs online around 2014, and at the same time he began his career as a writer who provided songs to other artists.
In 2023, he released the opening theme for the TV anime “Jujutsu Kaisen” and “Blue no Sumika” and participated in the 74th Kohaku Uta Gassen. He has provided music to numerous artists including WEST., Hoshigai Suisei, SUPER EIGHT, and LiSA, and has continued to be active across genres, including Nippon Broadcasting System’s “Kitani Tatsuya’s All Night Nippon X (Cross)” launched in April 2024, and has been active as a unit called “GEMN” with Nakajima Kento.
