The music video for TOOBOE’s “You wa Kaibutsu,” the ending theme song for the TV anime “The Summer of Light Dead,” has been released, and the audio has begun distribution.
The music video for “You are a Kaibutsu” that was released this time is set in a church with lush plants. TOOBOE, dressed in a jacket, wields the song in the pouring light. The entire film features a memorable summer scenery that gives off a sense of nostalgia. Yoshida Harerama was the director.
This song is filled with TOOBOE’s desire to “forgive the characters, even myself, at least,” and the illustration on the cover is also newly drawn by TOOBOE. The motif is the scene in the original story where Yoshiki puts his hand into Hikaru’s stomach and says, “It’s like chicken and cool.”
The song will be released on CD on August 13th. In addition to the title song “You are a Kaibutsu”, “Shaku” is also a song created with the image of “The Summer of Light Dead.” Furthermore, the work includes a total of five songs, “Gentle Eyes,” “Nýx,” and “Doll.”
Furthermore, from September 2025, it has also decided to hold its largest nationwide tour, “The Monster of the End of Summer.” The show began with the Kanagawa performance on September 4th, and then visited 14 cities across the country until Zepp Shinjuku (TOKYO) on October 5th. Tickets are on sale for the general public.
