It has been decided that the new song “Shake it!!” by BILLY BOO, a four-member band from Sendai, formed in May 2024, will be released on Wednesday, August 13th.
The previous album, “Rhapsody,” released in April, ranked number one on Billboard JAPAN’s “Heatseekers Songs” for two consecutive weeks, and also reached 8th on the first half of 2025 charts. It also quickly increased its presence, being selected as a push song (power play) on 57 radio stations across the country.
The new song “Shake it!!” is a perfect summer number with the theme of the fusion of New Jacks Wing and J-POP. This song stands out with the unique colors of BILLY BOO, which has created pop music with its roots in R&B, HIPHOP, and soul funk, and is already a song that will be lively even at live shows. Ryo’LEFTY’Miyata worked on the arrangements together.
In addition, a pre-add/pre-save campaign for the new song “Shake it!!” has been decided.

The vocalist KAZUKI UJIIE’s singing voice captivates people with his natural singing voice that will keep you on your ears once you hear it.
“Lens,” released last October, was selected as the background music for ABEMA’s “Don’t Deceived by You and the Wolf.”
In February of this year, the band released their first EP, “Backlight,” and was selected for the FM802 heavy rotation in February.
“Rhapsody,” released in April this year, has been written as the ending theme for the TV anime “The Mystery Solving After Dinner,” and will be the first anime tie-up.
