Asmi, “the voice most used on social media,” has released her new song “Koi” digitally and also revealed the cover of the regular edition of her first major album “Ribbon,” which will be released on Wednesday, May 29th.
“Koi” is a new song that will also be included in the album “Ribbon.” Asmi herself wrote the lyrics and composed the music for the song, which is being used as the 2024 commercial song for “Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport.”
The commercial also includes a live scene of Asmi performing “Koi.”
Asmi’s first major album “Ribbon”, which will be released on Wednesday, May 29th, will include the new song “UTAGE”, which was recently announced as featuring artists Rinne, Kubota Kai, A Natsume, ICARUS, and Kizuna, as well as “PAKU”, which has been played an astonishing 3.4 billion times on TikTok and caused a huge buzz, “Dokimeki Diary”, which was also the opening theme for the TV anime “Pokémon”, and “Kaisei”, an insert song for the TBS Tuesday drama “My Second Youth”. In addition, the limited edition will come with two Blu-ray discs, and will include two live videos from the asmi special live tour “Do you know me?” held at Namba Hatch in Osaka on Friday, December 23rd, 2022, and the asmi special live “Wonder Closet” held at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA in Tokyo on Thursday, November 23rd, 2023.
Asmi will be holding the Asmi Special Live Tour 2024 “Untie the Ribbon” in promotion of her album “Ribbon” from June, visiting nine cities across the country.
