“NEXZ” is a global boy band born from the Japan-Korea joint audition project “Nizi Project Season 2” by Sony Music and JYP.
As they prepare for their official debut, they have just released the fourth installment of their original content, “NEXZ Archive.”
The dance performance video “NEXZ Archive | J-HO Choreography | Tambourine – Eve” was released on the NEXZ Official YouTube Channel at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18th.
The dance performance content “NEXZ Archive” has been released with various concepts almost every month, and once again, the charm of NEXZ, who are renowned for their talent, explodes.
The video is set to the highly addictive track of Eve’s “Tambourine,” and features a stoic yet tough beat, creating a new appealing interpretation that is different from the worldview of the original song.
The choreographer was “J-HO,” who has experience as a lecturer at many famous dance studios, including the world-renowned dance studio “1MILLION DANCE STUDIO.” The dance was cool, dynamic, and powerful.
Through the “NEXZ Archive,” which has been released so far with four super popular dancers as choreographers, the NEXZ members have mastered a variety of captivating techniques and have grown significantly.
Is the full-scale countdown to their debut about to begin? Expectations are growing with each passing day.

A global boy group consisting of TOMOYA, YU, HARU, SO GEON, SEITA, HYUI and YUKI.
The group was born from JYP and Sony Music’s joint Japanese-Korean audition project “Nizi Project Season 2.”
NEXZ stands for “Next Z(G)eneration.”
The name is named after the letters “N” and “Z” as proof that it was born from “Nizi Project,” and it conveys the message that members who will lead the next generation have come together to deliver new music and performances and usher in a new era.
When announcing the group’s name, JY Park told the members, “We named you this with the hope that you will pave the way for the future together with the new generation.”
On December 18, 2023, “Miracle”, written and composed by JY Park, which was performed at the final stage of the audition, will be released as a pre-release song.
The song reached number one on Oricon’s daily digital single (single song) rankings on December 18th, as well as on various other music distribution sites such as iTunes, LINE MUSIC, AWA, mu-mo, and Rakuten Music. Furthermore, “Miracle (Korean Ver.),” which was released simultaneously on iTunes, also topped the “K-POP” genre, achieving the remarkable feat of reaching number one for both Japanese and Korean songs.
In addition, the performance video for “Miracle,” which was released at the same time as the song, surpassed 10 million views on YouTube within six days of its release, and has currently been viewed over 17 million times.

What is “Nizi Project”?
A joint Japanese-Korean audition project by Sony Music and JYP.
For this project, JYP and Sony Music will jointly handle everything from holding global auditions to casting the members, training, planning, production, and management.
“Nizi Project Season 1” produced NiziU, who appeared on the NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen for four consecutive years, won the Japan Record Award for three consecutive years, and performed at the two major domes, Tokyo Dome and Kyocera Dome, the fastest in history for a female artist.On October 30, 2023, they made their long-awaited Korean debut, winning first place on a local music program and attracting a lot of attention, becoming a national girl group in both name and reality.
Leveraging this track record, “Nizi Project Season 2” aims to create a global boy group. Regional auditions were held in 11 locations, including eight cities in Japan, Los Angeles, New York, and Seoul, South Korea, from mid-March to early May 2022, with more than 10,000 applicants participating.
