Global boy band “NEXZ”‘s first solo reality show “Debut Preparation Class ” will finally be available exclusively on “Lemino” with Japanese subtitles from Sunday, April 14th!

“NEXZ” is a global boy band born from the Japan-Korea joint audition project “Nizi Project Season 2” by JYP and Sony Music.

On December 18th of last year, the song “Miracle”, written and composed by JY Park and performed at the final stage of the audition, was released as a pre-release song and it reached number one on the Oricon Daily Digital Single (single song) rankings dated December 18th, as well as on various music distribution sites such as iTunes, LINE MUSIC, AWA, mu-mo, and Rakuten Music. Furthermore, “Miracle (Korean Ver.)”, which was released at the same time on iTunes, also topped the “K-POP” genre, achieving the remarkable feat of reaching number one for both Japanese and Korean songs.

In addition, the performance video for “Miracle,” which was released at the same time as the song, surpassed 10 million views on YouTube within six days of its release, and has currently been viewed over 17 million times.

Even before her debut, she surprised the world with big news that was unusual for a new artist when she announced a major project with daily hydration drink “Aquarius.”

NEXZ is currently preparing for their official debut, and their solo reality show “Debut Preparation Class ” has begun broadcasting and streaming worldwide.

Finally, on Sunday, April 14th, the film was released in Japan exclusively and with Japanese subtitles on the video distribution service “Lemino®”.

“Debut Preparation Class ” is a reality show that depicts the members of NEXZ, who are about to debut, growing as professional idols by experiencing in advance the various situations they will face in their future activities.

In the long-awaited first episode, the members are taken to a venue without being told anything, where a large door appears in front of them, and when it opens, they find a large number of reporters waiting for them…

NEXZ’s first ever “mock” press conference was suddenly held.

Although confused by the barrage of unexpected questions from the reporters, the members worked together and did their best to answer them.

Will they be able to complete the press conference safely?

From the second episode onwards, the group will be shown their precious debut preparation period through unexpected and surprising missions and developments.

Not only can you see the members’ fresh reactions when faced with unpredictable situations, but the honest and diverse charms of each of the seven members are also on full display.

Lemino plans to release additional episodes every Sunday at midnight, with episodes 1 and 2 being free, and episodes 3 and beyond being free for one week only after each episode’s release.

NEXZ stands for “Next Z(G)eneration.”

The name is named after the letters “N” and “Z” as proof that it was born from “Nizi Project,” and it conveys the message that members who will lead the next generation have come together to deliver new music and performances and usher in a new era.

When announcing the group’s name, JY Park told the members, “We named you this with the hope that you will pave the way for the future together with the new generation.”

What is “Nizi Project”?

A joint Japanese-Korean audition project by JYP and Sony Music.

For this project, JYP and Sony Music will jointly handle everything from holding global auditions to casting the members, training, planning, production, and management.

“Nizi Project Season 1” produced NiziU, who appeared on the NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen for four consecutive years, won the Japan Record Award for three consecutive years, and performed at the two major domes, Tokyo Dome and Kyocera Dome, the fastest in history for a female artist.On October 30, 2023, they made their long-awaited Korean debut, winning first place on a local music program and attracting a lot of attention, becoming a national girl group in both name and reality.

Leveraging this track record, “Nizi Project Season 2” aims to create a global boy group. Regional auditions were held in 11 locations, including eight cities in Japan, Los Angeles, New York, and Seoul, South Korea, from mid-March to early May 2022, with more than 10,000 applicants participating.

After going through a process of regional auditions ⇒ training camp in Japan ⇒ training camp in Korea, the global boy band “NEXZ” was born.
