Their debut mini album “Kitto, Zettai, Zettai” released on January 17th (Wednesday) won first place on both the “Oricon Weekly Single Ranking” and the “Billboard JAPAN Top Singles Sales”. The idol group ≒JOY (Nearly Equal Joy) produced by Rino Sashihara achieved the feat of exceeding 100,000 copies shipped on the first day of release, and their momentum is unstoppable in 2024.
In February, to celebrate their second anniversary, ≒JOY held the ≒JOY 2nd ANNIVERSARY PREMIUM CONCERT at Tokyo International Forum Hall A. It was still fresh in our memory that it was a huge success, drawing a total of 8,000 spectators for the two performances in the afternoon and evening, but on April 12th (Friday), they also made a live appearance at the idol event “Urutorasu Festa ~ Sakura in Full Bloom! SP Edition ~” held at Zepp DiverCity (TOKYO).

They also performed their own original songs “Sono Saki wa Exalt,” “Sweet Sixteen,” and “Kyou mo Kimi mo Shitanda,” accompanied by highly polished dance moves. To finish, they performed their first song “≒JOY,” which is filled with the passionate message that “Let’s all work together to make the dream of ≒JOY come true,” and captivated the audience with a spirited performance of a total of eight songs.
≒JOY will be releasing his first video product, “≒JOY 1st Concert: Nice to meet you, I’m ≒JOY,” held at the National Hall of Pacifico Yokohama in September last year, on Wednesday, April 24th, and has also announced the release of his long-awaited first single on Wednesday, June 12th. Online autograph sessions and individual talk sessions have also been scheduled, so please come along and participate. Keep an eye on ≒JOY as he continues to run full speed towards his dreams.

This is the third group formed by Rino Sashihara to produce her ideal idol, following “=LOVE” and “≠ME”. The final audition was held on January 30, 2022, and on March 29, 2022, the members were unveiled and producer Rino Sashihara herself announced that the group would be named “≒JOY”. On September 3 last year, the ≒JOY 1st concert “Nice to meet you, we are ≒JOY” was held at the National Hall of Pacifico Yokohama, attracting approximately 8,000 people, and from the end of last year to the beginning of this year, the first tour ≒JOY 1st Tour “Absolute” was held and was a great success.
